A/N Can you all do me a big favor? I made a new Tokyo Ghoul fanfiction, and it's in my external link (click it) or you can just go to my home page! Comment on the first chapter so I know you read it please. It would honestly make my night ten times better than it already is.

It's Uta and Nishiki, and it will have some... mature scenes. More than this book at least.

...

After Haruhi's dad left -Haru had to practically pull him out by force- your dad went to lay down in his bed room and sober up.

He was a bad drunk, and became too honest about everything. Too honest for your mother's liking.

He once tried to tell you -very visually- how children were made when you were around 8 before. It didn't end well, when your mother caught him in the middle of his first sentence that started out as "Well, you put the boy's thing in the girl's-" You get the image. (Me as a future parent tbh)

So that left you to try and finish your algebra with a nice cup of tea, and your mother looking over paper work, on the opposite side of the table.

After a long, silence she finally spoke up.

"I've found your a letter from your school in my stuff..." She trailed off. It wasn't exactly report card time yet, so it made you worried that they would send you something this time of the year.

She slid it across the table to you and focused on her papers again.

I wasn't addressed to your parents, it was directly meant for you. It was times like this that you were thankful that your mother wasn't that nosy in your personal life. Most parents would open the letter, read it, then give it to you.

You tore open the envelope, and took out a neatly hand-written paper that read,

Dear Y/N,

This is Kyoya Ootori from the Host Club, and I am glad to inform you that you have been accepted as a host!

No, you do not have a choice.

More will be explained tomorrow after school, where I will be near the Flower Courtyard.

I know the setting sounds odd, but trust me.

Best Regards, Kyoya Ootori.

"What's wrong Y/N? You seem to have gone pale in the face. Are you feeling sick again?" Your mother asked, as he cleaned up her and your tea cup.

"No I'm fine... Someone just happens to be a thorn in my side..." Why would I need to trust him?

Accepted? I don't remember applying for a position there... What the hell is he thinking? I may owe him something, but not this big of a favor!

"Is it a love letter? My daughter is such the man's lady..."

You looked up at your mom before smiling and laughing.

"Please don't say that again! That sounds unnatural..."

"I know... I'm trying to figure out if that even made since..." She giggled along, before she yawned. Your mom was getting up there, when it came to age. She had fresh wrinkles around her eyes, just slightly, and her skin wasn't looking as smooth. She as only in her early 40's but age was showing.
