Kiara followed the others out of the room, and as she walked down the hall, there she felt something press against the back of her calf. Looking down she saw a white dog looking up at her.

"Meet me in room 1104, my girl." Mephisto said before scampering off.

Kiara sighed, it looks like she'll have to wait a bit longer until she can relax.

When she entered the room, Kiara saw that Mephisto was waiting for her, sitting on the podium.

"Can you tell me why I'm here?" Kiara asked. "I could be relaxing back at my dorm by now."

"You're here to train of course. I can't have an untrained demon like you running around my school. That's just asking for the Vatican to find out about your existence, and we can't have that. Just imagine the paperwork I'd get!"

"Haven't you already trained me enough?"

"One can never be 'trained enough' dear! Besides, all you know right now is how to release your demonic side, you, unfortunately don't know any abilities you might possess."

"And why didn't we do this earlier? It's not like we had eight years to figure this all out— oh wait. We did."

Mephisto flinched slightly at the venom in her voice, "a Well, there was good reason for me not to train you at that orphanage. If any of those kids had seen you, well, you can just imagine what would happen then." A smirk appeared on his face and he leaned forwards, "Some of those kids might of ended up being your classmates."

Kiara sighed. Personally, she could care less if people knew about her existence, it's not like being scared of what could happen was stopping her. No, the main reason as to why she hasn't revealed herself is because Mephisto didn't want to have to deal with it all- that and the thought of having to train to be an exorcist with any of the kids from the orphanage made her want to kill someone.

"Now, my dear girl, the sooner we get a hold of those powers, the less of a chance of your identity being revealed in the future, now, we don't have all day."

Kiara took that as a hint for her to get ready. Taking a deep breath she felt a surge of power spread through her veins and she knew her appearance was changing. Her ears and canines sharpened, her tail made it's way from out under her shirt and a dark smoke billowed around the feather at the end, dissolving as it rose higher into the air. At the temples of her head, orbs of smoke appeared. Her pupils were more snake-like, a sliver of black in pools of gold.

"Excellent!" Mephisto exclaimed, clapping his hands together. "Now, if I remember correctly, your father was able to use the feather on his tail as a projectile weapon, try sending an attack at that target over there." He pointed his umbrella towards the back of the room and in a puff of smoke appeared a floating target.

"Whatever you say." Kiara muttered, turning and bending her tail so the tip was aimed towards the target. After a second, she flicked her tail and the feather at the tip detached itself, arching over the desks before lodging itself into the ground just barely a foot away from her and exploding into a puff of smoke. "That was... anticlimactic." At least the evidence would be gone if I were to actually hit someone—

"So, you'll need a bit of practice, but we can now say you did inherit that ability from your father. I wonder what else you can do~"

"Do we... have to continue? I mean, I'm really tired from classes and I don't want to do this, dad—" She stopped in her tracks and slammed a hand over her mouth, her eyes going straight towards the ground as her cheeks warmed up.

Mephisto grinned, "Well, sweetie—"

Kiara's eyes snapped up, and she glared. For a second, it was almost as if a dark wave washed over the room and a look of fear crossed his face. It was another minute or two before he recovered.

"Well, what a development!" He exclaimed with a grin. "Fear Inducement, I never would of guessed!" He laughed, kicking his feet in the air. He jumped off the podium and walked up to Kiara. "Well, this has been quite the productive training session, but there are a few... things... I need to take care of." He started to do his usual disappearing act before he paused, "Oh, and if you could be a dear and pick up some supplies for me from Futsuyama? Thank you!"

Before Kiara could respond, he was gone in a puff of smoke, leaving Kiar standing alone in the room, staring down at a pice of paper on the ground where Mephisto had disappeared. "Of course, using me as an errand girl once again. That damned clown. Well, I don't have to do it immediately, he can wait a bit. I have a date with Netflix."

Walking towards the door of the classroom, Kiara placed her dorm key into the lock and turned, stepping into her dorm and letting out a sigh. She was finally done for the day.
