"Now! Everyone head to the infirmary for examinations! Ta ta~" With that he disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving Kiara and her classmates standing in the classroom with no other choice but to follow the exorcists to the cram school infirmary.

Kiara was sitting in the infirmary with everyone else, sitting in a chair between Bon and Konekomaru— she and Rin seemed to be the only students who didn't require IVs.

"Damnit!" Rin shouted, then plopped down on the bed where Sheimi was laying, "Man, that was the worst pop quiz ever."

"They tricked us pretty good." Bon said.

"We should of at least kept the possibility in mind." Shima admitted. "Though I wish they would of told us because then I would of prepared for it."

"Oh boy, I wonder if I made it..." Konekomaru muttered with a worried expression on his face.

"I'm sure you did fine, Koneko, I wasn't there but I bet you helped a lot with holding the ghoul back alongside Bon. I didn't actually do much of anything other than follow Rin and that ghoul into the hallway. If anyone's failing it might be me." Kiara said with a laugh, the she shrugged, "Oh well, nothing I can do now." Thinking back if the hallway hadn't melted away she probably would of caught up to Rin and the ghoul and would of been able to join in on the fight. That damned demon who decided to pull her into a random void might of just made her fail her Exwire exam— though there was no use in worrying about it now. She'd talk to Mephisto about it later

"Yeah. Don't torture yourself, there's no use worrying about it now." Bon agreed.

"You three don't have to worry, but me? I was so scared I couldn't move my legs!" Shima said.

"I'm sure you guys are going to be fine. Remember what Mr. Okumura told us? Before the test started?" Izumo said, and Kiara thought to what Yukio had said before the exam started.

'Exorcists do not go into battle alone!'

'So cool off and get along until I get back'

"Being an exwire takes cooperation. They have to communicate with their team during combat. In that sense, no one did worse than me."

Bon looked over his shoulder at the purplette, "You need to cut yourself some slack, there. You stepped up— not like those guys. They just sat around." Kiara watched as he turned more and glared at the two, "You got anything to say for yourselves? Huh?"

"Oh sweet, I just scored myself a dragon claw." The hooded teen— Yamada— said.

"Huh! Why don't you shut your pie hole! We don't have anything to say to a bunch of Whitney brats like you!" Takara— or more rather his puppet— said.

"I'm going to incinerate that puppet." Kiara said with a tight smile on her face as she glared at the puppet.

"Kiara, please don't. I think we've all seen enough action today." Shima chuckled, a nervous look on his face.

"Holy shit they talked! They've been mysterious since the first day! And that guy rocks at ventriloquism!" Rin freaked, then he stood up, and Kiara looked to see that Sheimi was finally waking up. "Shoot, I woke you up, my bad."

Sheimi sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Oh no. It's okay, I'm feeling better now. Really. What were you guys talking about?"

"Just about the exam and that stuff." Shima said.

"And about how awesome you were. You outdid us all!" Konekomaru added.

"Without that barricade, these guys would of been toast." Kiara finished. "You saved their asses. Good on ya."

Sheimi was silent for a second, seeming to still be waking up. But after she processed what Kiara had just said she started freaking out a bit and waved her hands in the air. "What? Ah, no! I should be thanking you!"

"I know you'll pass the exam, without a doubt." Bon said.

Shima chuckled, "Yeah, if you don't pass we're definitely not going to pass."

"Hey, Okumura, how did you kill that ghoul all by yourself?" Konekomaru asked, changing the topic.

Kiara looked from Sheimi to Rin, she was curious too— maybe finally she'd find out the secret him and Yukio have been keeping quiet.

"Huh? Oh, well, I uh, I sort of... shoved this into it?" Rin said, pointing at the sword on his back.

Kiara looked at him, he wasn't completely lying, but he wasn't be completely honest either, though either way she hadn't gotten an answer to what she wanted to know.

"That's amazing! Maybe you should try to be a knight!" Konekomaru suggested.

"Okay... what do you mean shoved into it? Could you be any more vague?" Bon asked as Rin smiled, somehow sparkling. "If you ask me you're the mysterious one."

"Uh-huh! It's like, I don't look it, but I've got this certain mistake about me."

Kiara sputtered, caught completely off guard by what Rin said. "Oh my God. Did you just say what I think you just said?"

Shima laughed along with Kiara "You just said Mistake."

"Oh, uh, I meant myquiqe! Misqook!" Rin said, making Kiara laugh with each mess up.

"It's mystique, you dumbass." Bon interrupted.

"Oh! Right! Yeah, I always screw that one up."

Kiara's laughter died down and she looked at Rin, "Yeah, guess we all make those little mistakes." She teased.

Rin just laughed, easily shaking off what she had just said.

Kiara smiled, then stood up. "Well, I'm feeling perfectly fine, so I'm heading out. Peace."

"You sure you're alright?" Bon asked.

Kiara waved her hand dismissively, "I'm fine, Mohawk. I'm in better shape than you guys."

"See you tomorrow, then." Konekomaru said.

Kiara nodded and gave them a short wave before walking out of the room. She walked down the hallway, and as soon as she knew she was alone she placed her dorm key into a locked door. After tuning the key she walked through and shut the door behind her. She took a deep breath and looked in front of her.

After what she just experienced, she was glad to be able to go to sleep.
