"Happy Valentine's Day!" Jayce greeted Amber when she woke up, he held a tray filled with her breakfast. He had made pancakes, eggs, bacon and grits with cheese and orange juice with no pulp.
"Are those grits" she smiled and he nodded as she sat up against the headboard.
"Everything smells so good"
"Thank you baby"
"What do you have plan"
"Just a little surprise"
"I wanna know" she poked out her bottom lip.
"It won't be a surprise then will it?"
"No"
"Okay then"
"So is this surprise formal?"
"Yes"
"I have to buy a dress?"
"Yes"
"And get my hair done, nails, toes, but shoes"
"Yes and you can do all of that with your friends"
"Okay"
"You can treat them as well when you go to the nail salon"
"Huh?" He handed her his card.
"Oh no baby, I don't want your money"
"It's part of your Valentine's day gift"
"... Okay" he stood.
"I'll be back" she grabbed his arm and pulled him back down on the bed.
"Wait, eat breakfast with me"
"That's for you bae"
"Eat with me" she whined and he sighed, she smiled knowing he was going to cave.
"Thank you baby... Oh I almost forgot, your Valentine's day present" she pulled a box out of her nightstand.
"This is the small present"
"Small?"
"Yes" he smiled at how excited she was for him to open her present.
"Open it!"
"Okay" he tore the wrapping paper off and saw a green box.
"Oh shit" he exclaimed and she squealed in happiness.
