Chapter 26

Y/N's POV

I woke up quite early than usual, I turned to my side and saw Yeonjun's sleeping face. His face looks so peaceful when sleeping, especially with those pouty lips of his.

Their debut is so near and I'm so happy and excited for them, but I don't know why I feel kinda scared.

There's probably nothing to worry about, right? What if everything changes?

Before my overthinking gets the best of me, I got out of the bed as carefully as possible, trying not to wake Yeonjun up.

I have decided to make coffee for breakfast, since it's too early, Yeonjun won't wake up soon so I'll just cook breakfast later when he wakes up.

As I went to the living room with my cup of coffee, I suddenly remember that I have to record my song.

I then put my coffee down the coffee table, then I went to my room to get my equipment.

I brought the equipment to the guest room, that I made as an office/recording studio whenever I plan to work from home.

I started working on my song and tried recording already.

I want the vocals to be as raw as possible, with minimal doubling and auto tune. But I still added some few reverb and echo to it. I did my best to record the some parts that I was not so satisfied with, I also kept on listening to the song again and again to see if everything is perfect.

As I think I am done, maybe just a little more of reviewing to see if everything really is perfect, I heard someone from the door.

"Someone's pretty busy early in the morning."

I turned around to see Yeonjun leaning on the door, smiling.

"Hey, how long have you been there?" I asked softly.

"Just a little while ago, your song sounds great." He complimented, which makes me smile automatically. It feels so nice to be complimented for the work you've worked so hard on.

"I should probably ask Namjoon or Yoongi if it's good enough." I sighed as I stood up and headed Yeonjun's way, slightly worried if my song really is good.

"I'm sure they will find it really good, don't worry about it." He said while he hugged me.

"Oh, speaking of them. I will be having lunch with them today and probably the rest of the day, since this will be their last free day before they will start getting ready for their tour." I explained while still hugging Yeonjun.

"Okay, I also just had a message from our manager this morning that we will have a meeting too, seems like we will talk about our debut being moved earlier than planned."

"Oh, that's nice!" I said while breaking the hug and started going to the kitchen to start making breakfast for both of us. "The others must be so excited then!" I said cheerfully.

"Yeah, they are. Though we feel a lot of pressure because seems like everyone is already expecting so much from us." Yeonjun said with a sigh.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't think too much about it, what's important is you do your best and that no matter what your fans and I will still support you guys!" I said, comforting the sad guy sitting at the counter-top, waiting for his food.

"Eat up, we have a long day ahead of us." I said as I placed the food in front of him then kissed his cheek.

We then started eating our breakfast together and spent the remaining time doing lazy stuffs like what we always do.
