The last thing I put on is the locket uncle had just given me and I smile as I touch it lightly.

With one more look into the mirror I nod my head in approval as I fix my hat around to make sure that a majority of my red hair is covered. I seriously think that was the dumbest decision I have ever made.

Uncle said the traditional way to go hunting is wearing all black which was no problem for me since that is what a majority of my closet now consists of.

I decided on a pair of black skinny jeans and topping it off with a black long sleeve turtle neck shirt which was securely tucked into my jeans with a belt wrapped around. I put on my dads chest holster and secruley put in the gun. I put on my thigh holster as well opting out on the arm holster this time around since I decided to wear a thin black bomber jacket to hide my chest holster.

I load myself up with the weapons that I will need which would be my gun, wooden bullets, and wooden stakes, as well as a venom. Its not just any type of venom.

It was discovered about twenty years ago and it slolwy starts to kill the vampire that are infected with it. It's made up of different components that when brought together they are able to kill them.

See wooden stakes and bullets do kill them but only if they reach their heart. If you shoot them with it in the head it will only weaken them but it wont kill them. You have to aim for the heart.

And this isn't just any wood actauly, its not like you can go to any random tree and and pick up a branch and stab them, no it has to be a certain type of tree which grows in a sacred hunting ground.

Only a few trusted souls are told the location due to the threats and attacks being made on it from the vampires.

It's the only thing that could kill them instantly, of course they would want to destroy it and have no traces of it left.

The reason why this tree is special is that the top royal, before the one that is currently alive and ruling, was killed under that tree and that tree instantly took his body making them one.

The only thing that can kill them is themselves.

Which is why that tree can kill them, it's of their own blood.

There is only one vampire clan that doesn't try to destroy it and that's the vampire mafia who is ruled by the top royal, his father being the one who died underneath that tree and now gives the source of their death.

I guess I can understand why he wouldn't want to, that's his fathers resting place. He wouldn't want to disturb him, I know I wouldn't.

I shake off all my thoughts and start to make my way downstairs to see my uncle who was just tying up his boots.

His attire is the same as mine minus the bomber jacket, instead he was wearing a simple thin black coat, and hat, since his hair is already black.

"Ready?" He asks and I nod my head and he pats my back with an approving smile.

"Okay let's go." With those words we leave the house and I take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

We walk over to the black car and get in as quick as we can. Once we get in the car uncle turns it on and sets up the GPS to our exact destination and once that was done we hit the road.

Once we leave past the gates thats when my nervousness picks up. I have always wanted to do this so why do I suddenly feel nervous over it?

I take in another deep breath and let it out as I wipe the palm of my hands on my jeans.
