You and Haechan were childhood best friends in elementary and middle school. You always hung out and played games together... not only that but you told each other everything. Secret crushes, family issues, deep thoughts but also funny inside jokes. You both were two peas in a pod. Until Haechan had to move and study abroad. You've texted him occasionally these past five years but barely have since he's been busy with his studying. But maybe one day you'll get to see him soon.

Y/N POV

I struggled as I was waking up. I rubbed my eyes and I stretched my arms out until they hit the wall behind me. It was a new day. The light came in through the window, blinding me. "It's already morning?" I frowned. I finally decided to get out of bed and wander around my dorm. Since it's a Saturday I had nothing but studying to do. I lazed around in my pajamas. I walked into the kitchen and made a bowl of cereal and sat on the couch to watch some morning tv before studying. After eating I decided to do my laundry and hang out on my phone a bit. I was scrolling on Instagram to come across this new post. It was a face I haven't seen in a while. I double tapped it and liked the post. I grew a slight smile on my face and then started to think: "I really miss how it use to be."
Time really flew by and I went to study for the day. Playing tuns and eating an occasional snack. It was night time by the time I got my head out of the textbook. "Man, I wish I would've gotten to watch more anime but class is tomorrow..." I complained to myself. I changed into my PJs again and cuddled up in bed. I shut off the lights. But something interrupted the darkness: my phone lit up with a new text: "hey. Its been a while, hasn't it? Haha. I'm sorry I've been busy studying. I hope you're doing well." - it was from Haechan. It put a smile on my face because it's been months since we last texted each other. "Oh hi! I am doing well, school got me busy, but I'm keeping it up. Thank you for texting me; it means a lot. How's studying abroad going for you?" I texted back. Twenty Minutes passed But, there were still no more words from him. I decided just to head to sleep and just text back in the morning if I had the chance. I woke up and saw he still didn't reply. I don't know why but I felt a bit disappointed. I headed out for another day of college which was a normal routine. I escaped the dorms. I was walking on the campus to head to the first building for class. The halls were full of people. I didn't usually talk to many people except my small group of friends. I pushed my way through the halls and met up with my friends before class. I made my way into their circle. "Hey, Y/N!" One of my friends called out and got my attention. I focused on her. "We have a new member of our group today." She laughed and gestured to the guy beside her. "He's my friend's brother." She said. I bowed, and he bowed. "I'm WinWin, nice to meet you." He smiled gently. I made a quick smile and scratched my head. "I'm Y/N.." I was barely able to say because the bell rang. We all rushed to class before we were late. After the first few periods of class, I walked into the hallway and shoved my books in my backpack. I got a glimpse of my phone and saw I got a text.
"Oh yeah duh, he's abroad so time zones..." i thought. I rushed to get my things to go to the next class. I walked to my assigned seats. I looked at my phone right when the teacher was walking in. The text had said: "it's going good. I do miss my home and parents though. I would like to visit whenever I can but, I seem to not have a lot of time." As I read the text I could tell he was stressed out. But I had to put my phone down before the teacher would've caught me. After that period it was lunch. I felt the stress of college on my shoulders since I was juggling studying and work. I walked outside, around campus with my lunch, and sat on a bench. "I wanted to eat out but that'll have to do." I thought. I started to eat my noodles and checked my phone. I replied to a few texts but then I realized I didn't text Haechan back. "I'm sorry for the late reply, I was in class. You sound stressed, but do whatever makes you happy. You should take time to rest." I sent it out. I put my phone down and started eating. I looked around. "My friends are usually eating with me, I wonder where they are?" I wondered. Someone from a distance was walking up to me and decided to sit next to me. "Oh... WinWin, right?" I looked over at him. He grabbed his lunch. "Yeah, sorry. I couldn't find the others and I saw you out here. Would you mind if I just sat here to eat?" He shrugged. "Yeah totally." I looked down at my food. "Okay, thanks." WinWin acted kind of shy and laidback. But, I felt like there was more to it than that. It was quite silent for a while as we ate our lunch. The others finally found us and we finished chatting and eating together. But, the twenty minutes were over and it was back to classes again. After more and more classes it was finally time to leave. I struggled with my stuff until I got back to my dorm. I unlocked the door and walk-in. I walk into my bedroom and place my backpack and things down. When I look up, I notice the picture frame that Haechan and I were in. I smiled at it as I quickly got ready for work. It was already so late I forgot about dinner. I rushed to the bus stop and went to work my shift. After a tiring five hours, I got done. It was late, very late. I was tired, very tired. I walked on the sidewalk beside the street. Since I worked at a local town convenience store, I worked on the main road. It was dark, and I had felt so drained and achy. I made my way to the bus station. I sat down on the bench. I checked my phone while waiting for the bus. Haechan hasn't replied back. I kind of figured he was sleeping. For some reason, all I wanted was a text from him. Maybe it is cause I miss him or what. I laid my head back on the back of the bench and sighed. "I think I need more of a social life if he's the only one I'm waiting for a text from." I laughed to myself. The bus had pulled up. It let people off. I was waiting until everyone got off before getting on. I watched them all get off, but one of the last few- I had recognized him. I thought my eyes were playing with me. So, I wiped my eyes. But, he was there. With a suite case in his hand. He was looking right and left, kind of confused. He didn't even notice I was sitting there. He texted someone and ruffled his gray-silver hair. He grabbed his things and started walking. I stood up, pushed through some people, and watched him slowly walking down the street. "H-" I stopped myself from saying anything. I was so worried that he DIDN'T want to see me. I was fretting that we weren't the best of friends we were before. I looked down. I felt a feeling in my chest that I should call out to him, even if I was worried, I still had the urge. So I stopped and said "Haechan??" He stopped because he heard someone say his name. Even when there was a crowd of people. He scratched his head. He slowly looked behind him and noticed I was standing a distance away. He squinted and his face lit up in a smile. He waved at me and turned around. As he made his way towards me, I felt so excited. "Why are you here?? Why didn't you tell me???" He was catching his breath. "I'll tell you everything. But can we take it to a place a bit quieter and... uh, comfortable?" He laughed nervously. "Oh, yeah." I looked around. "We could go to my dorm.." I shrugged. "Or your house." I laughed. "Yeah, that'll be fine." He nodded. We both walked awkwardly to his house. We walked onto the porch. "L-lets talk here." He stopped me before knocking on the door. I nodded and sat on a seat on the porch, he sat across from me. "I wasn't expecting to see you soon." He chuckled nervously. "So, I had a break from school, and I really missed home and I haven't visited in a while so I decided to come.." He looked down and played with his hands. "I was planning to eventually come to see you but I'd thought you would be too busy for school and work, so I didn't tell you." He went on. "I understand." I muffled. I looked up at him as he was looking down at his feet. "I'm glad you're here! I've missed you." I scratched my head. He looked up and had a positive change on his face. "Me too.. it's been like 5 years or something? You've totally grown up I must say." Haechan had a bright smile on his face. I laughed. "Yeah, you have too hehe." I chuckled. We were there chuckling for a while. "You must get home." He told me. "You look tired and plus you have a long day tomorrow." He was about to walk Into the house, but turned back around and waved. "Bye-bye." I  took the bus and finally got back to the dorm. It was late. I was quietly walking through the hallways, but I heard someone walk out of a room. I looked back as I was unlocking my door. It was WinWin. "Oh, hi." I said softly and waved. When he saw me his face lit up. He stopped in front of me. "Nice to see you again." He had walked past me and looked like he was headed somewhere. "Hey," He suddenly said, stopping me from opening my door. "Would you like to study together sometime?" He shrugged. The stare he gave me, made me feel very nervous for some reason. "Yeah, that'd be nice." I nodded and smiled. He made a quick smile at my response and quickly said "I'll let you know a time." He was about to walk out but then realized. "Would you like me to text you the time?" He looked back at me again. "Oh- if you want to." I struggled to get my phone out of my pocket. I handed him my phone and he typed his number in. And he typed in my number on his. "Okay now that I have it, I'll let you know." He waved and smiled and he started walking down the stairs. I finally was able to go into my dorm. "That was a long day." I thought as I laid my things on the couch. I immediately laid in my bed "I can't believe Haechan is back.." I shrugged. Then I noticed WinWin had texted me: "Hey, do you think Saturday will be a good time to study? We do have a test coming up in biology." I smiled at the text. "Oh that's right.. yes that should be good, but breakfast time would probably be the best since I work. (OvO)." I replied back. I felt so happy yet so nervous while texting him. Even if I just met him today, he seemed so interesting. A few days pass and I walk into school like it's a normal day. I pass through the halls to pass by this group of tall yet small guys. I heard them laughing and teasing each other. But, I stopped to get books out of my backpack to recognized one of the guys was WinWin. He was laughing with his friends, and I felt so captivated by him. He noticed I was looking and I looked straight down and quickly walked away. "Why'd I get that nervous?"
"Hey, Johnny?" Winwin asked. "Yeah?"
"You're good with romance right?"
With Winwin's sudden question Johnny almost choked. "Why the sudden interest?" The other guys started chuckling. Winwin scratched his head. "No reason." He laughed. "Well, alright man. If you say so." Mark teased.
