Chapter Three: The Used to be Trio

Y/N POV

I was walking in the halls for school, I was dreading today since I had to work later. All I really wanted to do is hang out with Winwin because last night he was all I could think about. Yuna walked up to me with a smile on her face. "What's up?" "After school, you want to watch a basketball game?" She asked me. "Well I have to work soon after school... so maybe a few minutes?" I scratched my head. "Great!" Yuna side hugged me. I headed to the first class and sat in a pew and got out my textbook. I heard someone sit next to me. I slowly look over to see who it is.. it's Winwin with a bright smile on his face, looking at his textbook. "Why're you sitting here?" I whispered. "Am I not allowed to?" He raised an eyebrow. "Nonono." I shook my hands. "I'm not?" "No, it's not that." I laughed nervously. He chuckled with an embarrassed smile. "Alright." He got comfortable as class started. We shared some notes with each other to help focus on the lesson. After class, I walk out of the classroom. Winwin followed me and got my attention. He scratched his head then stuck his hands in his pockets. "I'm playing an official basketball game tomorrow, do you wanna come to watch?"
"Ummm... sure! I should be able to." I made a smile. "That's great. You could also come to practice today but there's no push." He looked away and shrugged. I giggled. "Yeah. I should just for a little while before I go to work." I rocked back and forth. "Oh, where do you work?" Winwin seemed shocked that I had a job. "Just the convenience store on 2nd street. Why?" I placed my hands on my hips. "Just asking." He chuckled. "Are you trying to act sassy because..." he made a side smirk. "Are you teasing me?" I lightly punched his arm. "Hey.." He pouted. Yuna then realized us and came up to us smiling. Yuta was with her. "Hey!!" She smiled. "Whatcha two talkin about?" "Just school stuff." I made an excuse. "Ah ah cool." Yuna shook her head. Someone came up to Winwin from the back. "Aye!" It was a really tall guy with black hair. Winwin turned around and they did a handshake. Winwin looked so happy to see him and his other friend. We slowly separated each other and went to other friends. I wanted to spend more time with him but I felt like I was being a bother. After a few classes it was finally lunch time. As soon as I got out of the classroom I was getting a call. I picked up. "Hello?" I said. The voice I heard was "oh hi, would you be able to see me for lunch?" I heard it was Haechan. He then hung up without me saying anything. "What was that? He didn't even let me reply?" I thought. Yuna ran up to me. "Y/N! Someone outside was asking for you." She had a chuckle on her face. "Who is it?" I made my way outside. I walked a little around campus with my lunch box in my hand. I then, saw Haechan sitting on a bench, holding a bag. I made my way towards him. "Hey, what're doing here?" He looked up at me. "Oh. I had nothing to do, so I figured I'd visit you." He smiled. "Oh." I sat next to him. "What's in the bag?" I tried to looking in the bag and he pulled it away from me. "It's a surprise!" He wined and hid it under his arms. "That's no fun." I pouted and looked down. I opened my lunch box. He stopped me from eating. "Are you stopping me from eating now? Do you want me to starve?" I rolled my eyes. "Please please." He chuckled and opened the bag. He handed me a bagel with strawberry cream cheese. "I know you really like them so." He looked up, embarrassed. "Is this from that fancy bakery that I wanted to try? You didn't have to." I lightly punched his arm. "It's no problem." Haechan smiled. I smiled back and took a bite of the bagel. "Do you have something to eat as well?" I said in concern. "Yes Yes." He waved his arms and got out his noodles and chicken box. "Good. You better be taking care of yourself." I took another bite. "Don't worry, I am." Haechan smiled with a full bite in his mouth. I stared at him for a second and laughed to myself while looking down. After I finished I saw Yuna calling out to me with Winwin, and the others around her. "I must go." As I started to get up Haechan stopped me. "Hang out with me and Jungwoo tomorrow Alright?? You better be at my house tomorrow night. I'm counting on you." He sounded serious. I gulped and nodded "yes." I parted with him and ran up to my friends. Haechan stood up and walked out in such a serious matter. "I hope I didn't hurt his feelings." I thought. We all headed to class. After classes I headed to watch the beginning of practice. I sat up in the balcony with Yuna and Soojin. "Hey, Y/N! It's been awhile!" Soojin Gave me a side hug. "Yeah." I nodded. We all sat down and watched the boys have practice. Winwin looked up and realized I was there. I smiled and made a small wave. He nodded his head to show he noticed me, he had a big smile as well. They were playing a really good game and Winwin was really good at passing the opponents and getting a pass and making into the hoop. I could see the hard work he puts into each game. He has sweat on his forehead but he had a big smile because he was playing with his good friends. I couldn't help but smile as well. My alarm on my phone was going on and reminding me to head to work. I stood up and said goodbye to Yuna and Soojin. I walked down to leave but Winwin caught me a second before I left. "I'll see you later, Alright?" He said out of breath. I nodded with a smile. He went back to playing while I headed to work. I walked there by myself but what came to my mind was Haechan from earlier. I couldn't stop thinking about his expression. I checked in at work with my coworkers. "You're actually here on time?" My coworker Taeyong teased. "Oh please, I'm usually here on time. I was only late once okay?" I crossed my arms as I made my way to behind the counter. "Has it been busy today?" I asked. "Not really. Hasn't really been ever since the new market opened up." Taeyong leaned his head on his hand and sighed. "Oh, I see." I shrugged. "Maybe the people that live closer to here only come when they need something quick." I scratched my head. Sometime had passed and barely anyone has came in. I was playing on my phone as I heard the ring of the door. Someone walked in. I looked up, I couldn't see who it was since they already walked down one of the aisles. I saw the top of the persons head. The persons hair looked so soft. Taeyong looked at me and whispered: "aren't you going to say it?" He nudged. "Sorry." I whispered back to him. The person continued to walk towards me from one of the aisles. "Hello, let me know if you need anything." I said. Then I looked back down on my phone. Then I felt something lightly touch my head. "Hey!" I was hoping to look up and see Winwin, so I had a huge smile on my face. But the voice was different. I looked up to see Haechan with a bright smile on his face. "Oh hi." The feeling in my heart made me blush and look down for no reason. "What're you doing here?" I crossed my arms and pouted. "Well, I said I wanted to visit you." He scratched his head with a small smile. "You did visit me earlier.." I shrugged. "Is visiting multiple times illegal?" Haechan scrunched his nose. "Well no.." "hey. Are you going to buy stuff or just stand there?" Taeyong teased. "Oh sorry." Haechan just noticed Taeyong was there. He bowed and started to make his leave. He waved to me with a soft smile. Then Winwin had walked in right as Haechan left. My chest sunk for some reason. My smile grew wide. "Hi, may I help you?" I blushed and put my hair behind my ears. "Yes." Winwin stretched his arms. He had a chill look on his face. "Do you have that really good ramen?" He scratched his head with a small smile. "Uh- yes!" I got out from behind the counter and lead him to the ramen section. "Thank you." WinWin smiled. "Remember about tomorrow right?" "Yeah." I nodded with a soft smile. He smiled, waved and left after he bought the ramen. "Man. How many boyfriends do you have?" Taeyong shrugged. "None! What do you mean??" I glared at him. He looked up from him phone and gave me a glare. "I'm not wrong." Taeyong made a side smile. After work it was really late, but I decided to go over to Yuna's dorm to see her. I knocked on the door, and her bright smile was on the other side. "Welcome!" She let me in. We were both in comfy clothes. "I'm glad we're able to hang out since we've been so busy with school and work later." Yuna shuffled around with lots of snacks in her arms. She sat on the couch and cuddled in blankets. I decided to go sit next to her. She handed me a few snacks and I stuffed them in my face. "Well, we can stay up late since there's school in the morning sooo.. let's just hang out for a little while." I scratched my head. "Don't worry about school right now! Let's just talk! I've wanted to ask you a few things." Yuna took a bite of her cake. "Oh what is it?"
"Well, I know this is out of place but... do you have a crush on WinWin?" She smirked. "UhhhhHhhhh! No!" I shook my hands. "Are you sure?" Yuna smirked again. "You've been smiling and looking at him a lot.."
"No. I don't think I do.." for some reason my heart wouldn't stop beating but the person in my mind shimmering.. wasn't Winwin. "Well, if you say sooo.." Yuna sipped her tea.
