THIRD PERSON POV

Sora let go of Hayato's dead body after digging his nails into his eyes. He did not mutter a single word nor did he flinch at the sight of a crushed skull.

The Wolves were watching in horror. They were grateful towards Sora for saving them but at the same time they were afraid of him.

After about 10 seconds of silence, he fell to his knees and fainted. Canis went to help him even though she was tied up.

Reita's POV

"Report! We successfully wiped out the wolves and Sora!" I said aloud to the king.

"Great job. Now about th--"

A knight interrupted our conversation. "Sir Reita! King Arlo! Our entire unit sent towards the wolves were wiped out! Along with Hayato!"

I was in shock. "Do you have any proof of this?!"
"We went there to see what was taking them so long and found Hayato's deceased body. We also found a bunch of burnt bodies lying around. The rest were all turned into ashes."

The King made an angry face. "Send more of our troops out there now!"
I walked out of the room with an angered face. "I will personally deal with this myself! Ask my classmates to follow me!"

The King stopped me before I can take action. "Reita. He took out Hayato, we cannot risk any more heroes. I will send a few knights after him to gather information about him. Focus on leveling up. You are only Level 20 currently. It is not wise to go after him."

I gritted my teeth but complied with the King in the end. He was right. Sora was probably saved by a strong adventurer that was passing by. If that person is escorting him right now, I would not stand a chance. I'll just wait till I'm stronger then I'll beat the shit out of him.

"Alright. Call my other classmates. We're going to head to the dungeon now."
The Knight nodded and left the room.

I sighed as I was annoyed and pissed that murdering Sora did not go as planned.

"Next time, for sure."

Sora's POV

"Argh... My body.."
Where am I?? There was no noise or sound to be heard around me. I opened my eyes and saw myself in a small room. It had one small table with a cup of tea. There was literally nothing else besides me and the bed I was on.

I touched my head and noticed my horns were gone. However, my head would hurt when I touched it. I checked my body out and noticed I was wrapped in bandages.

"Oh my. I did a number on myself."

As I was just about to go back to sleep, I heard a 'ting' noise.

It said my Status had been updated.

"Status.."

I was at a loss for words. My PR had gone up by a lot since I last checked my status, which wasn't that long ago. "Wha-"

As I was still in the middle of being a child who just walked in a candy shop, Canis walked in. She saw that I was awake and rushed over to my side and hugged me.

"Sora!!!"

Now I was even more confused. Has she always been like this?

"H-Hey! Stop!! What's going on?! Can you elaborate?!"

She was continuously hugging me without replying to my question. "STOP!!"

After a while, she calmed down and explained the situation to me.

A thought came to my mind.

'So.. My PR and Level went up because I wiped out more than a 100 men?? I wish I could have seen Hayato die though.. Damn it..'

As I was thinking about all this, Canis sneaked peeks at me while blushing. She then whispered into my ears. "You saved me as well."

'??? I did?'

I was really confused. As I was about to ask her how I saved her, Joro came in. Apparently we were in a half demolished building that survived the raid.

"Sora. You can no longer stay here. It will bring harm to us even more.." He said with a depressed voice.

I understood how he felt so I nodded. "I'll leave now."
I got up and took my bag with me.

As I was about to leave, Joro handed me a ring. "That ring is the most prized possession of our tribe. Take it with you. It heals you five times faster than your original healing speed."

I thanked him and left for the gates.

Canis tugged my shirt from behind. I looked back at her. She shyly asked if she could follow me.
"I would like to assist you in your journey. I'd also like to get some revenge for our people.. Plus you'll have a guide right?"

"Eh.."
Joro insisted so I allowed her to come along. She was specialized in close combat so I guess she could be useful.

"Canis. Where do we go from here? What's the closest kingdom?"
"Hmm.. Probably the Aquarius Kingdom.. I think we should head there to refill on supplies then leave after since King Arlo probably already made us fugitives."

"Yea. You're right."

We both headed towards Aquarius Kingdom. I'll make use of the abilities that I gained upon coming to this world.

I'll show all my classmates.

This chapter was kind of rushed. Really. I had no idea how to make Sora react upon waking up.
