Brianna POV
My mom opened the door for us. We went in and went to the living room.
I sent the girls back to the game room with their cousins.
My parents came in here and sat down.
Me: Mom, dad, this is DeShawn. DeShawn this is my mom and dad.
Mom spoke to him but my dad looked him up and down.
Dad: So, why Brianna?
DeShawn: Huh?
Dad: I said why Brianna? You're a good looking guy. I'm sure there was plenty of other girls. Why my married daughter?
He added emphasis to the married.
DeShawn: We had a connection. I know that it was wrong for us to do what we did while she was still with her husband but our feelings overpowered everything else.
Dad: Okay. DeShawn, you seem like a nice guy aside from the affair. I'll give you a chance. I can't say the same about my sons though.
DeShawn: It'll take some time but hopefully we'll get there.
We had dinner and DeShawn met my brothers. They are giving him the hardest time ever. They'll eventually get used to him. Hopefully.
