It was the time of the years again as prom season was approaching every girl in Avonlea dreamed of being asked out by there dream boy, pick out there dream dresses, the whole 9 yards.

Anne Shirley cuthbert the girl that Gilbert Blythe has crushed on ever since she came to school which was in the 7th grade, now they are in grade 11, Gilbert was thinking about asking Anne to the prom but when he got to the point to ask her. He saw him Asking Anne out with a rose in hand and her hand in his hand and Anne giggling while the other girls around her were giggling as well and awed at the sight.

Jackson Monroe. Gilbert Blythe worse enemy, the two boys have been trying to fight for Anne's attention, with Jackson being new to Avonlea and all Anne has had a slightly little crush on him.

"What's the matter Gilbert?" Asked Charlie

"That Jackson jerk, I can't believe anne trust him what if something happens to her?" Asked Gilbert Charlie looked at him like he was crazy

"Dude... don't tell me your catching feelings," said Charlie as he placed a hand on his chest

"Listen Anne's is my best friend in the whole entire world and I don't want to see her hurt," said Gilbert

Charlie patted Gilbert on the back

"Don't worry dude... you'll get her someday," said Charlie then he walked away leaving Gilbert by himself as he punched the locker that was in front of him then wince back in pain

"Did little mister gilly boy hurt himself?" Asked Jackson who was laughing so gilbert clenched his fist and turned around

"Hey!"

Jackson turned around

"If you hurt Anne... I will find you!" Said Gilbert as he got close to Jackson's face with his pointy finger

"Or else what?"

"Or else... we'll see what you get pretty boy," said Gilbert as he left

Prom night has arrived and Anne, Diana and ruby were getting ready. Anne was wearing a black short dress with diamonds on the bodice, while Diana was wearing her signature blue style but in a longer size with diamonds on the belt of the dress, and ruby in a long pink and white ombré dress with pink and white diamonds along the belt of the dress.

(If you have seen the Austin and Ally prom episode and you seen Austin's date in that episode then that is what Ruby's dress looks like)

"I'm so excited!" Said ruby

"I know I've been waiting my whole life for this moment," said Anne

"How does Gilbert feel about you going with Jackson?" Asked Diana, Anne sighed

"Honestly I haven't talked to him in a week.... he just blocked me out of his life forever." Said Anne

"Promise me and the girls one thing," said ruby

"What will that be?" Asked Anne

"Please be careful with Jackson... he's not what you think he is," said Diana

"And we would hate to see you hurt," said ruby

"Thanks for caring... honestly I feel like I'm going to prom with the wrong guy instead of the right guy," said Anne

"Well let's not worry about it we need to finish getting ready for we can leave and get there in time," said Diana

As 30 minutes has passed by and the girls have arrived at the prom Anne, Diana, and ruby were getting walking in, arms linked and smiling a giggling,

"I'm going to find Jackson," said Anne

Diana and ruby nodded

"We'll save you a seat at the table," smiled Diana as they walked off as Anne walked over to Jackson as she was about to tap him on the shoulder instead, she heard Jackson say a few words that she wished to have not heard

"Yea I totally used that red headed freak," said Jackson

"Uh dude I wouldn't say that," said one of his friends who has saw Anne behind Jackson so Jackson turned around to be met with a red head

"Oh hey babe," said Jackson

Anne pushed his arm off of her shoulder by a shrug

"Don't you hey babe me I heard what you said, you just used me like that?" Asked Anne as she was on the verge of crying but at the same time angry that she kept poking Jackson with her pointer finger on the chest by pushing him back at every word she said

Jackson laughed

"Wait you thought that I would love you? Your pathetic no one would want to date an ugly red head like you," said Jackson

"Oh yes they would!"

"Blythe what are you doing here?" Asked Jackson

"Listen if you hassle Anne again you'll be getting something more than just a black eye, anyone would be lucky to go to a dance or even on a date with Anne," Said Gilbert

"Well if you like that freak so much than why don't you be her date to the prom I'm done," said Jackson as he walked away with his friends

Anne turns to face Gilbert and gives him a hug

"I don't know how I could ever repay you," said Anne

"Anything for my best friend, I don't even know what you even saw in the jerk," laughed Gilbert Anne laughed to Then a slow song started playing

"How would you like to dance with me?" Asked Gilbert

"But what about your date?" Asked Anne

"I'm standing in front of her am I?" Asked Gilbert looking Anne up and down, Anne laughs and take Gilbert's arm and they spent the rest of the prom dancing together and being themselves.
