Story summary: Anne has to chose between two guys a past lover (Gilbert) and a Recent Lover (Roy Gardner)

Anne was sitting on her bed at the queen academy thinking about a Though decision, recently Gilbert came for a visit and told her she needed to chose between him or Roy Gardener a boy she has met at queens that has swept her off her feet.

I found me a guy told me I was a star
He held the door held my hand in the dark
And he's perfect on paper but he's lying to my face
Does he think that I'm the kinda girl who needs to be saved

All the girls and the boys were in the parlor room as they were getting ready to practice for the dance that they were holding, of course Anne was going with Roy Gardner but as she walked over to him she saw him flirting with a girl right in front of him

"Who this?" Asked Anne, Roy looked at Anne

"Oh this? This is Fallon she is a girl I met at queens," said Roy, Fallon spoke up

"Hi you must be Anne, no wonder he dumped you, where did you come from a cabbage patch?" Laughed Fallon Anne looked at Roy with tears in her eyes

"So you dumped me, I thought you loved me, that's what you said the other day," said Anne, Roy sighed

"Anne not trying to break your heart or anything but... I don't love you, I just didn't want to hurt you," said Roy

"Not only did you hurt me you hurt my feelings, I never want to see you again Roy Gardner!" Said Anne as she ran off outside sobbing

And there's one more boy he's from my past
We fell in love but it didn't last
Cause the second I figured it out he pushes me away and I won't fight for love if he won't meet me half way

Standing in front of Anne was Gilbert Blythe, so he met up with her gaze and Anne smiled and ran to him engulfing him in the biggest hug while she was crying in his neck

"Oh Gilbert, I'm so glad to see you, I made a mistake," said Anne Gilbert places his hand on Anne's cheek wiping a few tears off of her face and after he did that he leaded her to a near by tree that had a bench

"Now please tell me what happened?" Asked Gilbert

"You remember Roy Gardner?" Asked Anne, Gilbert Nodded "well he cheated on me and I think I made a huge mistake, Gilbert will you please forgive me?" Asked Anne, Gilbert smiled

"Anne I forgive you, now please will you take back what I ever said?" Asked Gilbert Anne smiled

"Yes and I also want you to know that... I chose you instead of Roy," said Anne as she smiled Gilbert smiled and kissed her deeply
