Anne scoffed

Anne was walking down the street, makeup ruined on her face as she couldn't stop sobbing she was thinking of the flood times her and Gilbert shared for the past 2 years but for now she needed a place to stay for the night so she stopped by Diana's to see if she was there.

As Anne arrived at Diana's house Anne took a deep breath and knocked on the door, and few seconds later Jerry answered it

"Anne what are you doing here? It kinda late," said Jerry

"Oh Jerry you don't know what I've been through is Diana here?" Asked Anne as she hugged Jerry crying into his chest

"Come on in," said Jerry as he placed an arm around Anne leading her to the living room where Diana and Minnie May were sitting.

"Anne what are you doing here?" Asked Diana as she set down her sewing stuff "shouldn't your be with Gilbert I mean you both are practically engaged,"

Anne sobbed at the name of Gilbert

"I don't think we won't be getting married," said Anne in between sobs

Diana signaled Anne to come sit beside her and gestured Jerry to grab a blanket and some tissues Jerry did what he was told

"Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend?" Asked rose

"I don't know I guess I was so stupid to not realize,"

"She pretty! And she's lucky to have a guy like you," Said Rose

"You really think so?" Smiled Gilbert as he looked at Rose
