It was a snowy day In Avonlea and Anne was over at bash and Gilbert's babysitting Delphine, bash was out back getting wood for the fire while Gilbert was doing some extra studying for his queens entrance exams. After a while bash came in
"So how is little delly doing?" Asked bash Anne was in the kitchen cooking something nice for the two, since the cuthbert were out of town for a week, Anne was given the opportunity to stay with bash and Gilbert as long as she were to babysit Delphine, which Anne gladly excepted
"She's doing just fine," smiled Anne bash went to find Gilbert
"Where is Gilbert?" Asked bash
"I think he's upstairs studying for the queens entrance exams," said Anne as she was setting up the table
"Well can you get him ?I have something to tell the both of you" Anne nodded and went upstairs to Gilbert's room and when she got up there she saw him sitting at his desk studying so Anne went over to his desk quietly to scare him
"Anne what was that for?" Asked Gilbert Anne laughed And placed her hand on the textbook to close it
"Bash has something he wants to tell us so he needs you down there," said Anne gilbert nodded and held Anne's hand which was a surprise to Anne but she was glad that he grabbed her hand

Anne and Gilbert arrived downstairs to be met with Sebastian sitting at the table with Delphine so he looked up at two to see that they were holding hand, so the two quickly let go of each other's hand, bash had a smirk on his face
"Gilbert when are you going to admit your feelings for her?" Asked bash Gilbert scratched the back of his neck
"I don't know," said Gilbert bash had a smile on his face
"Well it good that you don't know when to tell her because we are snowed in, and Anne the cuthberts were supposed to come back today but they are also snowed in where they are," said bash Anne had a gasps on her face
"Really well I guess that's a good thing," said Anne "because I like you gilbert," said Anne as she were to face Gilbert, on the other hand Gilbert had a shocked expression on his face
"Well I like you to anne Shirley cuthbert," smiled Gilbert as he grabbed a hold of Anne's hand Anne smiled
"So does this mean that we are... you know.... boyfriend and girlfriend?" Asked Anne Gilbert smiled and laughed
"Yep," smiled Gilbert Anne had a blush on her face
Meanwhile bash was enjoying the show as she was liking from ear to ear and giving Gilbert a thumbs up
