Anne was walking through the woods when all the sudden a figure walks over to her

"Hey look boys, we stumbled upon a dog, woof!" Said billy as he was talking to his friends Paul and Paul

"Why don't you go back to the orphanage, that is where you really belong," said billy as he got closer to anne

Meanwhile Anne was in the verge of tears

"Aww did I make the poor red haired girl sad, suck it up kid not every life is terrific just admit it, you had a awful life, I'm surprised no one didn't want you after all these years," said billy, his friends laughed

After billy said that he pushes Anne down on the ground And walks away laughing while his friends laughed while pointing

Anne who was already crying has leaned up against a tree placing her head between her knees when all the sudden a boy came up

"Go away billy!" Said Anne

"Actually, it's Gilbert and I saw what billy did back there, he shouldn't have said those things," said Gilbert as he say besides Anne

"Face it, it's true I am a nobody that no one wants, billy just speaking facts," said Anne as she was crying some more

"I'll be right back," said Gilbert as he walks away running faster,

He was going to punch billy

Anne stood up and followed him screaming his name  she have made some trips and falls while at it but she didn't care she kept going

Meanwhile Gilbert arrives at school to see billy sitting at his desk talking to his two friends laughing

"What a baby, you should have seen her face this morning, looks like cat has bit her tongue," laughed billy

"Billy what you did was not funny," said Gilbert

"What are you going to do about it pal?" Asked billy

After billy said that Gilbert pushed billy to till he was on the ground

Anne arrives at the school and screams Gilbert's name

Meanwhile Gilbert and billy were having a full on fist fight, meanwhile Mr Phillips walked out of the teacher room examining the scene

"Enough!" Said Mr Phillips as he slammed the ruler down

At that boom sound everyone froze, even billy and Gilbert

"What's the meaning of this?!" Asked Mr Phillips

"Billy was being a jerk to Anne," said Gilbert "and I'm just protecting what's mine,"

Anne rushes over to Gilbert, Gilbert was covered in blood from a cut on his lip

"Oh that looks bad," said Anne as she touched the wound, Gilbert flinches but takes Anne's hand

"Why don't we skip a day?" Asked gilbert

"Sure but marilla would be mad,"

"So don't tell her," said Gilbert

Anne smiled and nodded her head

"Ok," said Anne

Then the pair walked out of the school house back to Gilbert's house
