Chapter 4 - Fall

When I was being bullied last year and all of the other years before it, I had turned to Fall to make me feel better. And although it was Justin Bieber and I wasn't a big fan of his, this song had always kind of meant something to me. The lyrics were just beautiful and it struck something in my every single time I heard it... and now Jake was about to sing it and I could feel my heart beginning to race.

I heard the band begin to play the song and I focused all of my attention on Jake on the stage, swaying slightly from side to side to the beat of the music. I found myself a seat on an amp backstage and watched him intently.

Jake:

Well let me tell you a story

He fell in love with his best friend

When she's around, he feels nothing but joy

Jake's voice made a shiver run through my body. He had the most angelic voice, and I fell in love right there. How could someone be so perfect?

But she was already broken, and it made her blind

Jake's gaze shifted over to me and he flashed a heart-melting smile in my direction before turning back to the Glee club.
