Chapter 45 - I Found You

When the lunch bell rang, I didn't waste any time in heading to the auditorium. The day was going so slowly, and I was anxious to see what Ryder had in store for me. 

I walked into the theatre, only to see it empty. "Ryder?" I called out, walking down the steps. "Ryder? Are you in here?" I repeated his name several times. 

That was when I heard quiet whispers. I stepped onto the stage, and the sound of other people just got louder. I turned around in a circle, and a slight bit of movement caught my eye. It was Ryder, coming on stage from the left side of the stage with the band members. He was walking backwards, leading them and their equipment on stage. 

"Ryder, what's going on?" I called out. He turned around quickly and almost crashed into me. 

"Oh, hi!" He took a few steps back, smiling so brightly. "Do you remember before Christmas you sung Stay, Stay, Stay to me? My favorite song?" I nodded. "Well, I have been thinking about how thoughtful that was, and I wanted to thank you for it with.... a song."

"Aw!" I blushed bright red and clapped my hands together. "That's so cute!"

"This song... I thought of you the first time I heard this song, so I thought it would be a good one." Ryder walked backwards until he was standing in the wings. 

"What is it?" I asked excitedly. My hands were beginning to shake, and my stomach was doing somersaults. I had never been more excited for anything in my life. 

"A little song by The Wanted..." Ryder smiled at me as I began to bounce on my toes. "Hit it!"

The music begun, and Ryder rushed over to me. He wrapped his arms around my thighs and spun me around in a fast circle. He then put me down, put me in a tango hold, and danced around the stage with me. 

She wants me to come over
