"So, should I have been listening to what was being said?" Violet said quietly. The stress of the room giving her a headache that wouldn't allow her to raise her voice even an octave louder.

Luckily for her Jasper seemed to have fantastic hearing.

Jaspers face was it's normal blank slate, stone and rock looking. She often compared him to that of a Greek chiseled statue

However his voice seemed to give his amusement to her question

"Well seeing as your my partner it might have been nice" Violet felt her cheeks flush in embarrassment

"Oh shoot, sorry, remind me what were talking about today?" She asked straightening her back from its slouched position and giving Jasper her full attention

As soon as she did Jasper sucked in a breath at her now close proximity, his eyes watching as she gave him a nervous smile, embarrassed at spacing out.

"Uh..."he trailed off, suddenly at a loss for words. The smile on her face grew a little into a teasing look.

"You sure you were paying attention Mr. Hale?"

With a sudden calmness Jasper smirked.

"Were supposed to work together to answer the equations on the bored." Violet turned her head to see that there was in fact eqations on the bored.

"Oh, okay I'll do all th-"

"I actually already finished" Violet froze and her eyes drifted to the paper infount of him to see a paper all filled out she frowned

"Okayyy. Guess I'll just get started"

"If you'd like you can just co-"

"Yep" Violets hand slid over his paper and slid it in front of her. She smirked as she began copying the answers

"On one condition" he added. Violets hand stopped. She felt terrible and didn't want to argue. She turned her head

"And what would that be" she asked rising a brow. Jasper tilted his head slightly

"You tell me what you were daydreaming so intensely about" Viloet smiled lightly and looked back at the page.

"Why you of course" she said sarcastically as she wrote. She, expecting an answer heard nothing. She sighed and turned to see an expectant Jasper. She rolled her eyes

She couldn't exactly say that she was spacing out into the traumatic past of the guy in the front row now could she.

"Okay. I was...thinking about our classmates" Jasper gave her a look and she laughed. "I was"

"What about them?"

"Nothing, everything"

"Vague"

"Yet honest" she said smiling. He sighed letting her hate his answers "yessss"

Class had gone by quick. Alice talked her ear off, not something she was complaining about, it felt nice for someone to talk to her so much she wanted to chop her ears off. A love hate kind of thing. Now she had lunch, not something she ever particularly looked forward to now that she no longer had any food to eat, and she had quickly became tired of apples. But she refused to take anything more. So as her normally routine she went in with a crowd, cringing wholehearted at their hurt, and then snagged an apple.

Today was going by seemingly normal. She thought. Because their was a large crowd of rowdy boys blocking her usual path to the table she took another one. She hadn't noticed she was passing the Cullens table till it was to late
