Sumi's eyes widened. She was not expecting a quick confession.

"As friends, duh," Youra added quickly.

'"Seriously?" asked Sumi. "Just friends?"

"Why not? Can't a girl just be friends with a guy?" Youra asked back.

"That fine specimen of a man texted you every day and he even went to your house, have meal with you and he's just a friend," said Sumi dryly. "It's like saying Godiva is JUST a chocolate."

"What does Godiva have to do with this? That is totally out of context anyway."

"You know what I mean," Sumi looked at her in disbelief.

"So? What's your point?" asked Youra as her eyes were still glued to the screen and still texting Jin.

"Don't you get excited when he text you?" Sumi prod.

"He texted, I texted back. Just like I text you," she answered. Youra laughed all the sudden and showed Sumi Jin's dad joke. "This is funny," said Youra as she laughed.

Sumi rolled her eyes. She didn't enjoy dad jokes as much as Youra. Sumi had a feeling that Youra really liked Jin. She had known Youra for a long time to read Youra's expression. When she sees now is not how Youra would act to any of her guy friends. She wasn't even like that when she was with Ji Hoon, the ex.

"You like him," stated Sumi. "Don't deny it."

"Stop it, Sumi. He can get anyone he wants. He has a huge sea of females to choose from who are better and beautiful, who is not me. So just stop okay?" answered Youra.

Sumi detected some fear in Youra's words. She fished slowly, "Is it because of what your dad and Yoosuk oppa did?"

"He's handsome, he's cooks, and he's rich. All three strikes on him," said Youra.

"Oh come on," Sumi exclaimed.

"All of those, are the characteristic of what all women like, one or another. He got it all. Spare me the heartbreak. So thank you, next."

"Since when did you become too jaded?"

"I am being realistic. Let's be honest here. He's up there," said Youra putting her right hand up, "and I am down below here. Why would he like me? There are other stars in his circle who are beautiful and nice."

"You are special," answered Sumi.

"That line is quite overrated you know," said Youra.

"I think he likes you too," Sumi stated.

"Don't presume too much Sumi," Youra warned.

"How many guy friends do you have, who texted you every day and talks to you on random stuff, not work related and send you jokes?"

Youra was about to reply, but closed her mouth. Sumi knew the answer. There was none. "I told you I don't want to keep on second guessing any guy who is in a relationship with me if he's seeing someone behind my back. It is unhealthy," said Youra. "I don't want anyone or myself to be in that kind of stress."

"Youra, the fact that YOU know that you are going to second guess any man, means you will not do it."

"That's weird logic. Look, I'm just afraid. I don't want to be like mom. Or Yoon Joo eonnie," said Youra.

"Well what if he confess?" asked Sumi.

"I don't think so. That will not happen," said Youra adamantly.

"I said, if. What would you do?"

"Turn him down," said Youra.

"Are you out of your ever loving mind?" Sumi nearly shrieked.

"He is way out of my league. That will not happen. Confessing would make our relationship awkward. I don't want to ruin it."

"Let's play Go-stop," said Sumi.

"What's the deal?" asked Youra. She knew Sumi would play with her to make a deal.

"If I win, you will go to the fan sign with me. And you, my dear friend, will confess to Jin," said Sumi.

"You're crazy right. What if I don't?" asked Youra.

"I'll tell your mom about Jin," answered Sumi.

"NO!!!! You wouldn't. That's a low blow," said Youra in disbelief.

Youra's mother was quite notorious in asking Youra to settle down and get married after Youra graduated from the university. She even started asking for Ji Hoon's birth details to check up with the matchmaking shaman the moment she knew Youra was dating. It was a slip from Sumi that Youra's mother found out. Youra was not planning to tell her mom about it until she was really confident about the relationship with Ji Hoon. Which was a wise move until Sumi blew it up.

"Boohoo cry me a river. Just watch me," dared Sumi, biting on a chicken.

"Come on give me a second choice," begged Youra. "Just give me some time adjusting. I promise you I will confess when I am sure of myself. This thing takes time and I had just known him for a month."

Sumi paused and thought for a while. A mischievous smile spread on her face. "Since you did not say yes easily the first time I asked, you will go to the fan sign with me, wearing what an overly cute middle schoolers who is trying too hard to look mature would wear. I will be your stylist for the day."

"If I win, YOU will confess to your sous chef. And I am going to witness and record it," replied Youra, confident that she was going to win.

"Man, you play rough," complained Sumi.

"Goes both way," Youra answered smartly.

"Bring it on."
