Youra couldn't sleep after everyone went home.
Her mom was staying over at her dad's and as expected, there were a lot of things that she had to answer and her mom was quite merciless. She sent a goodnight message to Jin and prepared to force herself to sleep. Her phone was buzzing not long after for an incoming message. He was still awake. She plugged in her earphone and called him up straight away.
"Oppa, I'm sorry about tonight," she apologized after she greeted him.
"Baby, don't apologize. It's your birthday and it's natural for them to want to celebrate it with you too."
"Are you okay?" she asked, referring to the unplanned meeting with her parents. She knew it was as uncomfortable for him as it was for her.
"I'm fine, yes. But baby, your dad is scary," he admitted. He was afraid of saying the wrong things that might make Youra's dad angry but he can't just be quiet and not answer any of her dad's questions.
"He is stern and you could say that my mom is the complete opposite. Chaotic. Don't tell my mom I say that. She would never let me hear the end of it."
"I won't. It's getting late. Not that I don't want to be with you longer but you still need to work tomorrow," Youra was yawning when Jin said that. It was a tiring night.
"I just need to hear your voice," Youra pouted.
"You are and you will hear me again tomorrow. Sleep baby. I love you."
"I love you too."
