Han Chan was already standing at the entrance of the amusement park when Yezun and his gang reached there, upon their arrival Daqing immediately greeted him " Brother Han from today on I'll be your loyal follower for letting us join you to have fun". Ling Jin scoffed " You'll be loyal to anyone as long as they'll give you food ". Daqing was about to argue but was smacked by Yezun " Don't waste time " with that he entered the gates to enjoy the day with a sulking Daqing and smirking Ling Jin following behind. Han Chan could not help but smile looking at the odd group of their's. They enjoyed their time playing to the fullest Daqing being the foodie didn't left any food stall unturned Ling Jin found his heaven in the arcade games Yezun showed off his shooting skills for the mighty cause of gaining ....................
a cute stuffed toy and Han Chan as a responsible adult looked over those kids while they were going barserk over the rides. After riding a ton of rides Yezun could not take it anymore and slumped down on a bench exhausted while the other two kids still hankering him to join them for  second ride of the roller coaster, ultimately they gave up and went for the ride on their own. A cold sensation on his face startled Yezun up, looking up he found the culprit to be none other than their mighty police officer Han Chan who was intentionally shoving an ice cold drink onto his cheek. Yezun snatched the cold drink and finished it in 2 gulps while Han sat down beside him sipping his drink elegantly as if he wasn't sitting on a bench of an amusement park but was posing in the set for a photoshoot. Two girls came to him giggling " You are Officer Han Chan isn't it ? Can we have your autograph and selfie ?" Han accepted their request.
After the girls left Yezun spoke up " You are quite famous Officer Han. But I feel sorry for you, you wasted your day off with a bunch of kids when you could have brought your special one " hint of teasing evident in his voice.
  " Are you complaining ? " Han Chan stated in a stern voice.
" No no I think I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity of being your acquaintance" Yezun said.
"I'm just doing my job truthfully. That reminds me you have got quite good skills if honed properly you can be a great law enforcer" said Han Chan.
" You are flattering me Officer but forgive me I have to politely decline."(Yezun)
"Why ?"(Han Chan)
" Don't get me wrong I'm not being disrespectful to you in the contrary I admire you alot, correction you are the second person I admire the most. Still in your profession There's a hierarchy I'll have to strictly follow the code and conduct and it can be quite confining sometimes just like the case which almost got you suspended. I'll be always at someone's mercy and I don't want that."(Yezun)
Han Chan nodded in agreement --
" Hmm I can understand what you are trying to say but still it's a loss I was really looking forward to work with you someday fighting against corruption together".(HC)
Yezun smiled lightly " Brother Han I know that you take me as a man of Justice but truthfully I'm a very selfish person I don't care about right or wrong, I won't even hesitate to sell my soul to the devil as long as I can keep my loved ones safe" although those words were spoken softly but it couldn't hide the determination in his voice.
Han Chan's core shook he couldn't help but utter " Does that mean I'm one of your closed one ?"
Yezun's turned his eyes towards him widened in surprise " Did you say something ?"
Han Chan denied not showing any signs of  nervousness but internally told himself what nonsense am I spouting to a kid ?
Yezun clearly heard what Han Chan said but pretended he didn't.
Han Chan then changed the topic trying to distract Yezun " You still didn't tell me about that person who held the first place in your admire list and If possible I would really like to meet him."
Yezun beamed making Han Chan somewhat jealous " That's my gege "
Han Chan immediately became relaxed and confused at the same time, relaxed because that person was Yezun's big brother not his rival, confused because he never got any hint from Yezun's close friends that Yezun had any brother. Yezun continued " You see my brother is very soft hearted who wouldn't even harm an insect but when it comes to me and my safety he would put his life on the line to protect me even though he is fragile he would always stay strong acting dependable and reliable for his dear didi to the extent of ....." Yezun smiled bitterly sadness shadowed his entire being and didn't continue anymore, Han Chan could sense it so he didn't pry anymore he changed the subject saying " Why those brats are taking so long ?" After spending 10 awkward minutes in silence finally Lin Jing and Daqing came towards them running.
" What took you so long ? It's already time we should go back now or Grandpa will be worried." Daqing whined and leaned closer to Yezun as he whispered " Let's visit Haunted house before leaving." Yezun could clearly see through his scheme he cleared his throat and asked Han Chan if they could visit Haunted house before leaving which Han Chan agreed in reply. Ling Jin gulped nervously when he heard their plan and cursed Daqing's ancestors in his heart but he was too prideful to show his fear so he scoffed " This little haunted house are for those little kids like you totally waste of money" saying this he stepped forward without waiting for anyone but everyone could hear his voice shaking in fear so without waiting further they followed after Ling Jin to enjoy the show. There were a group of girls before them and being the boys in their teenage Yezun and co started chatting with them leaving Han Chan behind. Everything was quite low profiled even scaredy cat Ling Jin didn't feel afraid but suddenly from nowhere a skeleton dropped over them from the roof and all hell broke loose, everyone started running and screaming shoving each other trying to get away. In the shove and push a figure was about to fall Han Chan quickly held it by instinct but his eyes went wide feeling soft lips on his own and he immediately released that figure in fear at very last when they finally got out of that damned Haunted house Han Chan was still in a little daze but he was pulled out of his trance hearing the heated conversation among his companions. Yezun the protagonist was bragging shamelessly that he kissed a girl and how soft plump those lips were. Ling Jin and Daqing both whined complaining why goddess luck didn't give them a chance. On the other hand Han Chan couldn't help but turn his face away smiling.

When Zhao Yunlan came with the doctor he found that Shen Wei fell asleep so he ordered the others to check him up without making much noise, when the check up ended doctor affirmed him that there's nothing to be afraid of anymore as Shen woke up from coma his life was out of danger he will recover soon. Zhao Yunlan finally sighed in relief not knowing he was holding his breath in the first place when the doctors left, his nerves which were twisted into knots  for these past few days finally untwined and he laid down beside Shen carefully and grasped that kid's fingers softly vowing in his heart from today onwards I will treat you sincerely
