Jordyn's POV

"Are you sure I look okay?" I question as myself, Toby, and Toby's team walk into some restaurant in Nashville for dinner.

We got into Nashville a couple days ago and the team have been training real hard up until team dinner the night before the game, which we're at now.

"Yes Jordyn." Christen says as she looks over my outfit. "You look beautiful."

"So do you." I say as a person leads us to a private area.

Once in the private area I sit in-between Toby and Christen while Alex, Becky, and Kelley sit across from us then we're handed menu's. The wait class comes a few moments later and we order our food and drinks then I lean into Toby.

"Hi Toby." I whisper.

"Hey Bubba." Toby whispers causing me to smile at the nickname she's had for me since we were kids.

Toby's nickname for me has always been either Bubs or Bubba.

"Toby?" I question causing my cousin to look at me. "Do I need to sleep in another room so you and Christen can have some alone time?"

"You don't have to if you don't want to." My cousin says.

"But you and Christen deserve some alone time." I say.

"I'm odd woman out." One of Toby's teammates says. "Jordyn can stay in my room if she wants."

"You'll be right across the hall right?" I ask.

We got back from dinner an hour ago and I've been packing my stuff up and moving it into the room I'll be sharing with Toby's teammate.

"I will be." Toby says.

"Okay." I say then hug my cousin. "See you in the morning."

"Sleep well Bubs." Toby whispers and kisses my head.

Toby and I break our hug then I head into my room and come face to face with my new roommate.

"I've already showered so the Bathroom's all yours." Toby's teammate, and the person I'm staying with, says.

I nod and head to my suit case and grab my sleep clothes and bathroom stuff then I head into the bathroom and take a shower. After my shower I do my nightly routine then I put on my sleep clothes. Once I'm clothed I come out of the bathroom and see Toby's teammate asleep so I turn all the lights off then I get in bed and try to get some sleep.

Three hours of staring at the ceiling later I quietly get out of bed, tip toe to Toby's teammate's bed, and make sure she is sleeping. Once I'm confidant Toby's teammate is asleep I grab my black lab Shadow then I crawl over Toby's teammate and get into bed with her. The moment I pull the covers over us, Toby's teammate spoons me and wraps her arm around me which feels very nice...it also puts me to sleep instantly.

What feels like five minutes later I am woken up due to fingers being run through my hair....and by Toby talking.

"Why is she in your bed Kelley?" Toby angrily whispers.

I decided to make my presence known so I stretch my limbs then look up at my cousin and her girlfriend.

"Hi Toby." I say as I rest my head on Kelley's chest while cuddling her and Shadow. "Hi Christen."

"Hi Jordyn." Christen says with her gorgeous smile.

"Jordyn why are you in Kelley's bed?" Toby asks.

"I couldn't sleep so Shadow and I crawled in bed with Kelley." I say. "And then I slept like a baby."

"We have team meal in twenty minutes so get up and get dressed." Christen says then she drags Tobin out of the room.

Kelley and I lay in silence for awhile and I enjoy cuddling with Kelley while she runs her fingers through my hair.

"Your comfy." I say then look up at Kelley.

"Well thank you." Kelley says.

"I hope I didn't cross any boundaries."

"You didn't." Kelley says. "I liked having you in my arms."

"I liked being in your arms." I mumble causing Kelley to smile.

"Come on." Kelley says and kisses my head. "Let's get ready for the team meal."

I nod then Kelley and I get out of bed and get ready for the game. I put on my cousins jersey, jeans, and red Timberland boots then I pack my bag with all my stuff.

"Ready?" Kelley says.

I nod then grab my coat and bag before I follow the red head down to the meal room. Once in the meal room we grab our food then I sit down next to Toby. I eat my food in silence then, once I'm finished, I rest my head on Toby's shoulder.

"I'm not mad at you." Toby whispers. "I just don't wanna see you get hurt again."

"I know." I whisper. "But Kelley isn't like my ex."

"I know."

"Load up ladies." Someone says.

Everyone throws their trash away then we get on the bus and head to the stadium. Once at the stadium I sit in an empty locker while the girls warm up then I sit on the bench and watch the game

90 tense minutes later the US girls end up tied with England which kinda sucks.

After the game is over I go and wait for the team on the bus. A little while later the team get on the bus so we head back to the hotel for dinner then the team has recovery. When we get to the hotel we disembark the bus and head to the meal room then grab our food. Once I have my food I sit down and eat it until I'm finished then I head up to the room and shower while the girls do their recovery

After my shower I answer some emails, then I put my stuff away, grab Shadow, and get into Kelley's bed.

"Jordyn?" Kelley calls when she gets into the room.

"Hello." I say when Kelley rounds the corner.

"Oh there you are." Kelley says with a smile.

"Here I am."

"Lemme go shower real quick then I'll come back."

I nod then watch Kelley grab her sleep stuff.

"Hurry back." I say. "I need my snuggle fix."

Kelley nods then hurries into the bathroom and takes the quickest shower ever. My roommate then does her nightly routine before she comes out of the bathroom and puts her clothes away.

"That's better." Kelley says as she gets in bed.

Once Kelley is in bed I cuddle into her, rest my head on her chest, then wrap my arm around her and Shadow.

"Who's this?" Kelley questions and shakes Shadow's paw.

"Shadow." I say and blush.

"Well hello Shadow." Kelley says then she wraps an arm around me and turns out the light. "Now let's get some sleep."
