Jordyn's POV

"AVERY...EZRA LET'S GO." I yell up the stairs.

"COMING MOMMY." Avery, my 4 year old daughter, shouts then she and her brother come walking down the stairs.

"Ready Mommy." Ezra says as he finishes putting on the jersey he's wearing for Kelley's retirement game tonight.

Earlier this year Kelley and the national team won the 2023 World Cup by beating the Dutch 3-2 in the final.

After they won the World Cup, a couple of the girls decided they would retire at the end of the season.

Kelley is the first of the retiring players to play her final game with the USWNT and Kelley's is in Atlanta against Costa Rica. 

"Oh Bubba." I say and giggle when I see my son's jersey is on backwards. "Lemme help you."

In January of 2022 Kelley and I adopted 3 year old twins, A boy and a girl.

Our son is named Ezra Daniel O'Hara and our daughter is named Avery Tobin O'Hara.

Kelley came up with the names and I really really like them.

"I told him it was on backwards." Avery says as I help my son fix his Jersey.

"There we go." I say once Ezra's jersey is on straight.

Avery and Ezra's jersey have #5 on it then for the name it says Mama.

"You three ready?" Kelley's Mom asks.

"Yes Grams." Avery says.

"Then let's go get you two buckled into the car."

Avery and Ezra nod then they follow their grandma to the car.

"Sandy." I call out then my service dog comes running

When my service dog gets to me I put her harness on her then we head to the car.

Once at the car, Sandy and I get in with my kids, Kelley's Mom and Kelley's Dad then Kelley's Dad drives us to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 

"Mommy?" Avery says.

"Yes Babygirl." I say.

"Is Mama coming home with us after the game?"

"Yes she is." I say.

"Good." Avery says. "I don't like when Mama's away from us."

"Me either sweetie." I say as Sandy lays her head on my lap "Me either."

For the rest of the car ride to the stadium, my in-laws, Sandy and I keep the kids entertained.

When we get to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Kelley's Dad parks then we head inside the entrance we're supposed to go into.

"MAMA." Avery and Ezra shout when they see their Mama then they run to my wife.

"MUNCHKINS." Kelley shouts then she bends down and lets them run into her arms. "I missed you Babygirl."

"Missed you too Mama." Avery says while Ezra snuggles into his Mama.

"I missed you Bubba." Kelley whispers then she kisses Ezra's head.

"Don't leave me again Mama." Ezra says.

Ezra's definitely a Mama's boy.

"One more game Bubs." Kelley says. "One more game then I'll be home forever."

"Okay." Ezra says then he looks up and sees my cousin. "Mama can we go see Auntie Toby?"

"Of course." Kelley says then Avery and Ezra walk over to Toby and hug her legs.

"Well hello Rugrats." Toby says then she squats down and hugs the twins.

"Hi Aunt Toby." The twins say as Kelley approaches me.

"Hi Bunny." Kelley says as she wraps her arms around me.

"Hi Peaches." I say as I wrap my arms around Kelley then I rest my head on her shoulder.

"You okay?" Kelley asks.

"I didn't sleep well last night." I mumble.

"Why Baby?" Kelley asks.

"You were there to hold me." I mumble.

"I'm sorry Bunny." Kelley says then she kisses my head. "I'll be there tonight to hold you as we fall asleep."

"That sounds nice." I mumble.

"Come on Kels." Alex says as Avery and Ezra come back over to my wife and I. "Time to go."

"See ya in a minute." I say then I peck my wife's lips.

"Okay." Kelley nods then she pets Sandy's head. "Hi Sandy."

When the kids get to us Kelley kisses them one more time before she heads to the captains spot in line then she leads her team onto the field. Kelley's family, my kids, and I wait on the sideline then, when told to, we are called onto the field.

"Hi Mama." The kids say then they hug their Mama.

"Hi Munchkins." Kelley says then she picks the twins up.

Once Kelley has the kids her family, Sandy, and I stand with her and pose for picture.

"Good luck Mama." Avery says after the pictures end

"Thanks Princess." Kelley says.

Kelley sets the twins down then I grabs the twins hands before we head up to our box with Kelley's family. Once in the box Kelley's Dad and I make sure the kids have the snacks they want then we sit down and watch the game.

90 quick minutes later the game ends in a 5-0 victory for the US.

"Where we going now Mommy?" Ezra asks as we head to the car .

"Were going to Mama's retirement party." I say.

"Party?" Avery asks.

"Mhmm." I say.

"............Will there be cake?"

"Yes there will be." I say as we get to the car.

Once at the car I put the kids in their carseats then Sandy and I get in the back seat with the kids and sit in silence for the whole ride to Kelley's Retirement party.

When we get to the O'Hara family barn, my in-laws help me get the kids out of the car then my kids play with sandy in the barn while the adults get the place ready for the retirement party.

"MOMMY A BUS IS HERE." Avery shouts as we finish prepping the barn.

"Okay." I say.

"MOMMY IT'S MAMA." Ezra shouts then I watch he and Avery run to my wife.

"MAMA." The twins shouts in unison.

"MUNCHKINS." Kelley shouts then she runs at the twins, scoops them up, and smothers them in kisses.

"MOMMY...HELP." Avery shouts while giggling.

"Alright Kelley." I say. "Let the kids breathe."

"Fine." Kelley playfully groans then she sets the kids down.

Once the kids are on the ground my wife looks at me and smirks.

"I'll just smother you in kisses instead." Kelley says then she does exactly that.

"Peaches." I say as I giggle then Kelley stops.

"Hi babygirl." Kelley says as she looks in my yes

"Hi." I whisper then I kiss my wife.

"I love you." Kelley says as I rest my head on her shoulder.

"I love you too." I say as Kelley wraps her arms around me.

Kelley and I stay embraced as we watch the national team play with our kids.

While Kelley and I watch our kids play with their aunts, I have only one thought on my mind.

My life is complete.
