Jordyn's POV

"You two ready?" I ask as I finish setting up my camera.

"Yep." Carli says.

"Ready." Julie says as I stand in front of the camera while the two guests in my video stand off to the side.

US Soccer tried to kick me out of camp when I told them I'd do the YouTube series on my channel, but all of the girls backed me up and by the end of the call I was able to keep staying with Kelley at camps and I was able to do the YouTube series on my channel.

I nod, take a deep breath, then look at the camera.

"Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. My name's Jordyn and today we'll be starting a new series on my channel called What's Cooking Good Lookin? Each episode will feature me and two guests." I say. "My guests today are two-time World Cup Champions Julie Ertz..."

"Hey." Julie says as she steps in frame then I look to Carli.

"And Carli Lloyd."

"Hello." Carli says as she steps in frame.

"Ladies thank you for being here." I say.

"Happy to be here." Carli says.

"Thanks for having us." Julie says.

"Of course." I say. "Now before we get to what we'll be cooking I need to thank Jax Kitchen for letting us use their kitchen to film this here."

I then turn around and grab the two aprons and the two chef's hats that I had personalized for my guests then I turn around and face the camera.

"Because this is a cooking series I took the liberty in personalizing my guests chef's hat and apron and I decided to personalize them in your Alma Mater's color...oh and they also have your names on them." I say then grab Julie's apron and hat. "Julie here's yours."

"Thanks." Julie says then I grab Carli's.

"And Carli here's yours."

"Thanks." Carli says then we all put on our aprons and chef's hats.

"What college is Purple and white?" Julie asks and points to my apron.

"Northwestern." I say.

"What'd you study there?" Carli asks as I tie my apron.

"I got a degree in Communication." I say. "And 2 national championships which didn't hurt."

"What sport?" Julie asks.

"Lacrosse." I say. "We lost in the championship to Maryland my freshman year then we beat them in the championship my sophomore year. Then we beat Syracuse in the championship my Junior year, but lost to UNC my senior year."

"That's awesome." Carli says and I nod.

"Now to get to what you girls came here for." I say. "The food."

"What are we cookin good lookin?" Julie asks making me smile.

"Since you both have a connection to Philly I thought we could make a staple of Philly foods."

"Philly Cheesesteaks?" Carli asks and I nod.

"Mhmm." I say. "And for our side we'll be having sweet potato fries with truffle butter then we'll be having Italian ice for dessert."

"I'm so glad today is our cheat day." Julie says.

"The Italian ice is cooling so who wants to start with what?" I question.

"I'll get started on the meat while you two do the potatoes?" Carli suggests.

"Sounds good." Julie says and I nod.

After that's decided I head to the fridge and get the ribeye steak we'll need before I return to Carli and hand it to her before I help Julie with the potatoes.

"Jordyn how long have you been here?" Julie asks.

"I think almost two hours." I say. "Most of that time was spent getting the Italian ice ready since it takes two hours to chill then it'll be ready."

"When did you realize you could cook so well Jordyn?" Carli asks.

"Probably when I was 8." I say. "Toby and I hung out a lot and she was always hungry after her practices so I did my best to keep her fed...also once Toby found out I could cook she'd ask me to cook for her a lot and I couldn't say no to her."

"How close were you two growing up?" Julie asks as we start cutting the sweet potatoes into strips.

"Very Close." I say. "We lived down the street from each other as children, Toby always walked me to school until she went to college, and Toby became my protector."

"What was young Tobin like?" Julie says.

"The same as she is now." I admit as we put the fries in the oven. "She kept to herself, had a ball at her feet every chance she could, but if someone hurt me then Angry Toby came out to play which was not fun."

"Jordyn does this look right?" Carli asks so I walk over to her then look at the meat

"Looks perfect." I say. "Just divide it into four sections, cook it on the flat top, then put two slices of cheese on the sections and leave it till the cheese has melted."

"Sweet." Carli says.

"Jordyn do we get to keep these aprons and hats?" Julie asks.

"Yep." I say.

"Sweet." The blonde says then she wipes her hands on the apron.

I return back to Julie's side then we flip over the French fries. After we flip the fries I get the truffle butter ingredients out then I make the truffle butter.

"Jordyn where are the buns?" Carli asks.

"I got it." Julie says then she takes the buns to Carli.

As I finish the truffle butter the timer for the fries goes off so Julie takes them out of the oven while Carli forms the Philly Cheesesteak.

Once everything is ready the three of us grab some plates then get the food we want and start eating.

"This truffle butter is amazing." Carli says.

"Seriously." Julie says.

"I haven't had one of these in a long time." I say as I eat my Philly Cheesesteak.

The three of us continue eating our food while talking about random things.

"Oh." I say after I've finished my food. "We still have Italian ice to eat."

I head to the freezer and get out the Italian ice then return to my two guests.

"Ready for some Italian ice?" I question and look at my guests.

"Yes Please." Julie says and Carli nods so I lift the lid.

"That looks amazing." Carli says.

"What flavor is it?" Julie asks as I scoop out three cups.

"Strawberry and Pineapple." I say.

"Okay this is amazing." Carli says.

"I'm confiscating this tub." Julie says. ".......for scientific reasons."

"We can take it back to the hotel Julie." I say.

"Yes." Julie whispers then I look at the camera

"Well we're gonna finish our meal off camera." I say then I look to the two players. "Julie and Carli thank you again for being here today."

"My pleasure." Julie says.

"Thanks for having me." Carli says as I look back at the camera.
