I cried out loud again as the cane landed with a thwack on my shoulder. He had been hitting the cane in the same place over and over again with an ugly smirk on his face.

A sickening crack was heard and Beomseo stopped mid-air with his cane. He paused and lowered the cane. A new wave of pain exploded in my shoulder, that I thought wasn't possible to experience. I groaned and leaned against the restraints.
I heard Beomseo bend down next to me and he whispered in my ear, "you haven't felt half the pain that we suffered yet."
He then straightened back up and lifted the cane back up.
