Rome groaned as he fell on his bum and laughter erupted. He glared up at his two best friends and then a hand was offered in front of him.
He looked up at the owner, only to find it to be Dan. Rome blushed.
As he took the offered hand, Dan pulled him up easily to his chest. Rome felt the tips of his ears getting hotter.
"Are you okay?" Dan asked. "You should look where you're going."
"Well, if you weren't there, I'd not have fallen down." Rome said, defending himself.
Dan smiled. He leaned down slightly and placed a kiss on Rome's flushed cheek.
Everyone, who were present in the cafeteria, hollered, cheered and their friends teased.
Rome's heart was about to pop out of his mouth. Eyes wide, he tried to say something, but nothing came, they were stuck in his throat.
All he could do was bury his face in Dan's chest.
