"Zaide!" Zara called behind him. He only stopped, but did not turn around. "Where're you gonna go?"
Zaide blinked furiously before he turned around and replied, smiling through his tears. "Don't know."
His voice cracked miserably.
Zara's face was pink, eyes red and swollen, just like her brother's. "Wait, a sec."
"They hate me. Everyone hates me, Zara. How am I gon-" Zaide's words died when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning around, he saw the only hope in his pool of depression. Zaide broke into tears in Thomas' arms. He could not control. In just a matter of few minutes, his whole world turned upside down.
"Not everyone hates you, Zaide." Zara said. "I'll try to talk to them."
Zara shook her brother, so the words would get through his thick skull.
She said those words with so much determination that gave Zaide a light of hope.
