Rome opened the door as soon as he heard the doorbell. It was Sunday and he could not wait to get out of the house and meet Dan whom he had last seen on Friday.
"Where've you guys been?" Both Zaide and Alisha were a bit taken aback hearing Rome burst out on them.
"Woah. Relax, dude. What happened? We're on time." Alisha said, eyeing her best friend.
"Zaide? Alisha?" Julia called from the living room.
"Hi, Julia." They both greeted, but as Rome dragged them out, they had to say, "Bye, Julia!"
Rome's parents gave him permission that he could go out with Dan, but after waiting for two days, Dan himself did not ask him out, so he thought what the heck and dialed Dan's number as soon as he got into Alisha's car.
