"Hey," Thomas greeted the smaller boy with a kiss on the forehead after putting the plate on the bed, "Have something."

Zaide shook his head. He did not have any energy left in him. Still, he gripped Thomas' sleeve to keep him in place beside him.

The older boy did not say anything further. He picked up a toast and held it in front of Zaide's mouth. He shook his head stubbornly, but his treacherous stomach chose that exact moment to growl at the delicious smell.

Huffing, Zaide opened his mouth to accept the toast that Molly had probably made. Thomas' attention on him made him flush.

To avoid his intense look, Zaide picked up another one and shove it into the older boy's mouth. He was relieved when Thomas welcomed it without any comment.

"How did I get in here?" Zaide asked after they were finished.

"I carried you in here last night." Thomas replied as he ran his fingers through Zaide's hair. "Although, I wanted us to room together, but mom strictly said you'll have to be in the guest room." Thomas pouted.

Zaide blushed, although, he was afraid he could not accept that generosity.
