Michael

It was a rainy Wednesday at school, and I was currently at my locker. No, I wasn't looking for books like a nerd or anything. I was actually looking for a chocolate bar I had thrown in there last week. It had only been a few days so I hoped it still tasted good if I could find it. I had so much shit in my locker it would definitely take a while to do so.

"Michael!"

I looked to my left and smiled as I saw Luke waving at me from a distance. He was coming toward me, but the crowd of kids slowed him down.

I waved, watching as he annoyingly budged past students who were walking slowly. After a few seconds, he finally moved past them and ran towards me, screaming happily.

"Hi!", he exclaimed, throwing his arms around me.

"Hey", I laughed, and hugged him back, before I picked him up by the waist, spinning him around.

He squealed, holding on to me tight.

"I've got you", I smirked, carefully putting him on the ground.

He giggled and leaned forward, kissing every inch of my face. I chuckled and closed my eyes. Luke made my day better, just by existing.

"How was French?", I asked, knowing the blonde had it in the third period.

He let out a long exaggerated sigh. "Extremely boring. I fell asleep like three times."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've never learned anything past bonjour in that class", I replied, continuing to search through my locker for the candy bar.

"Michael Clifford opens his locker? Inform the media", the blonde smirked.

I snorted. "I know, right? This is odd even for me, but don't worry, I'm not looking for textbooks, I lost a chocolate bar in here."

"You're gross."

"I know."

Luke raised his eyebrow before slowly getting something out of his pocket. He hummed a tune, waving an envelope in my direction, for me to see.

I smirked and took it from his fingers.

"What's this?", I asked.

He placed his hands behind his back in anticipation. "Open it!"

I opened the envelope, to see it was some type of voucher for a Chinese restaurant.

"Chopsticks?", I read.

"Yes! Chopsticks!"

"We're going out for dinner?"

"Actually", he spoke, taking the voucher from my hands. "Me... you...my mom, and dad are going out for dinner."

I raised my eyebrows as I closed my locker. "You want me to eat dinner with your parents?"

He smiled.

"Well, yeah. They really wanna meet you, like properly. My mom especially, as she hasn't met you yet. It was my dad's idea!"

"What about Cody?"

"The voucher is for four so he will be with my aunt for the night. So do you wanna go, tonight? I know it's last-minute but we decided yesterday."
