16.Old friend

Elizabeth's P.o.v

"M-mael?",I shout.
"Elizabeth!";He shouts back.
We quickly run into eachother for a hug, I haven't seen Mael in such a long time!
We used to be bestfriend's before we moved here, I used to even have a crush on him back then.

"Wow Ellie!Look at you,You've grown so much",He fakely wipes away a tear and i giggle.
"So have you!, So how have you been?And how's you're brother?Have any luck on a partner yet?Witch school do you go to?",I ask him some questions.
"I've been good, My brother is dumb as always, Nope I'm single and ready to mingle aaaand i go to Britania High!", He answers all my questions at once.
"Ooh!I also go to that school!How come i haven't seen you around yet?",I question again, I coulden't believe it! My old friend went to the same school as me!

"Ehhh...About that..Ya see, I usually am busy doing weird stuff my brother wants me to do..*Cough* Anyways, What about you, How have you been?",He asks me.
"Ive been good as usuall!", I exclaim.
Mael had to get going to his brother so we exchanged numbers and waved goodbye.
As i got home i imiddiantly got started on my homework, Once i whas done my brother suprisenly diden't return yet.

I checked my phone and got a texts from two people.
I clicked on the first message witch came from Mael.

M:Hey Ellie!, I whas wondering if we could hang out during school tomarow and have lunch together for old time's sake?

E:Hmm, I'm not sure, I'm sure that my friend's won't like me ditching them for someone they don't know :/

With "Friends" I ment Meliodas, But there whas no way i whas going to tell Mael that i whas litterly soulmate's with a demon!
He hated them since he whas little, Even though i heavily disagreed with him.
Besides that Meliodas would be fumming if he catches me with some guy.

M:Oh i understand, Maybe i could have lunch with you?
I understand if that's not possible, Besides I also have homework to catch on..Ya know what never mind, Maybe some other time?

E:Yeah sure ill ask them when you can join, Just finish you're homework please.

M:Don't worry i will!,Talk to ya later bro is calling me ;-;.

E:Heh alrighg cya!

Then i check the other message witch whas from Elaine.

Elaine:Hey Elizabeth!, I kinda got into a BIG fight with Harlequin since i whas with Ban the wholle day, So i whas wondering if i could sleep at you're house?

Elizabeth:Heh, Sure!But coulden't you just ask Ban?

Elaine:Honestly i would, but my brother's yelling the life out of him rn, Ill be there after 15 min.

I put my phone down and head to my closet to get two sleeping bags, I knew that Elaine could sleep with Ban just fine but there whas no way Veronica whas going to let that happen.
Soon enough Elain arived and we had some small talk before sitting down on the beds.

"Honestly, My brother could be such a baby sometimes",Elaine puffs whille i giggle.
"Don't call him that, Besides i freak out over the smalest things too ya know?",I reply.
She just shruges as an answer.
I soon remember the event that took place earlier today.
"Oh yeah!, I saw an old friend again today!It whas really nice seeing him again!",I change the subject.
"'Him' huh?",Elaine wiggels her eyebrows"I hope Meliodas doesen't find out about him then",She giggles as i turn red.
"I-it's not like that Elaine!,I can never replace Meliodas!",I exclaim soon realising what said As i turn into a tomatoe.
Elaine whas just giggeling at me.
