Shinozaki's POV

After a long 10 minutes of driving through the night, Hinoe slowed down to a stop in Kinomoto's driveway.

"It's here, everyone stay here while I get Kinomoto, he doesn't really know you all." I said as I opened the car door.

"No." Yoshiki put a hand on my shoulder to stop me. "I'm coming with you."

I sighed. "But you'll get in a fight with Kinomoto again-"

"Wait... He's the bastard from the lighthouse?! I'm going to-" He said, but I cut him off this time.

"No, he's my friend and if your going to talk shit about Kinomoto I suggest you stay here." I snapped. He opened his mouth to stay something, but quickly shut it, as if he's afraid of my response.

"Nothing? Good, come on then." I replied harshly. Too harsh if you ask me.

We quickly stepped out of the car in silence, so we wouldn't be spotted by any of the black mists. We moved across the yard while something whooshed by.

"Shinozaki!" Yoshiki whispered, snatching my hand pulling me down to the floor with him. My pulse started to race.

One of those things passed by harmlessly. I sighed in relief and my pulse started to slow down. "Thanks." I said, with a lighter tone.

He smiled. "No problem, lets keep going."

We moved once again as he said that. We finally made it to the porch, and to the front door. I noticed a doorbell. I pressed it lightly, and the sound of a musical theme played for 5 seconds and echoed inside. At that moment my pulse raced even faster. The sound was pretty loud.

We waited for a response from inside, but nothing replied. I started sweating nervously.

        What if he wasn't here?

What if he didn't hear the doorbell?

        What if he got killed?

I dismissed those thoughts. No he had to be alive, he has to be. I'm not giving up until I see a body.

I reached for the doorknob and slowly turned the handle. I heard a loud click, which made me even more anxious than usual.

"Come on.." I said quietly. The doorknob reached it's circulation limit. I pushed the door forward, and to my luck the door opened, reluctantly.

I sighed in relief again. I pushed the door open even further and slipped myself in. Yoshiki did the exact same.

We slowly closed the door, careful so the door didn't make a loud creaking noise. When it finally closed, we looked around. The house looked pretty dark.

        "Kinomoto?" I asked.

        There was no answer.

A feeling of dread grew inside me. He has to be here...

I sneaked my way through, my eyes adjusting to the dark so that I won't accidentilly bump into something. I saw Yoshiki out of the corner of my eye. I motioned him to come closer.

He came closer behind me. "Do you see anyone inside, I haven't adjusted to the dark very much." I said.

I could see him squinting his eyes. "Um... Sorry I don't see anyone in this room with us." I sighed in disappointment.

"Are you sure Yoshiki?" I asked to be thorough.

He squinted even more. He stopped to look at me. "I'm sorry, no." I sighed once again and stared at the floor.

"Oh well, if he isn't here, but we could try calling his name!" I said quickly. He was about to open his mouth, but I started shouting for Kinomoto's name.

        "KINOMOTO!" I shouted.

"Ayumi! Pipe down, they'll hear us!" Yoshiki insisted. I shook my head no many times.

"No! Not until we get Kinomoto!" I exclaimed.

I stood up quickly and ran off into a nearby hallway. I barged into a random room. "Kinomoto?" I  asked again.

I was about to call his name again, but then someone quickly covered my mouth, and snatched me into a closet, slamming the doors shut. "Who are you, and what do you want?" Someone asked harshly.

It was a guy's voice. Kinomoto! My face lit up. "Kinomoto!"

"Again I ask who are you and what do you want?" He asked again, in the same harsh tone.

"It's me, Shinozaki Ayumi!" I quickly exclaimed. He seemed confused.

"No, you can't be! Shinozaki died a month ago!" He exclaimed. Now I was puzzled this time.

"What do you mean I died a month ago?! I'm standing right here!!" I exclaimed back. I could see him shake his heard many times in the dark closet.

I pushed the closet doors right open. The moon's light shined through the windows and on me. Revealng myself to Kinomoto. "See! It's me Shinozaki Ayumi!" I said again.

He was in disbelief. "No, but, someone- someone told me you died, and I believed it, but how- How?!" He stuttered out.

I put my hands to my hips. "Now who told you I died?" I asked. He scratched his head awkwardly.

"Some girl with red glasses and short black hair-" I stopped listening instantly, because I knew who it was.

"Did she have a red pentagram ornament on her hair?" I asked. He looked back at me.

        "Uh- Yeah, why?"

"She doesn't like me very much, but come on, you have to come with me! We have to go!" I exclaimed quickly.

I rushed towards him, and he hugged me instantly. "What are you-"

"I'm so sorry for this, but it's just that I've been living a month in this house thinking you were dead this whole time!" He gasped out.

"Eh, Ayumi?" I turned my head around from Kinomoto's chest to see Yoshiki at the doorway.

"Um, this isn't what it looks like." I said.

"Yeah, no kidding." He replied. Kinomoto and I parted from the hug. Then Kinomoto glared at Kishinuma.

"Hey, I know you. You're the guy who cheated on Shinozaki!" Kinomoto growled. Wow I'm surprised he still remembered that..

"Wait, Kinomoto, that's not what happened, I'll explain it all in the car, but please you have to come with us!" I exclaimed.

I saw as Kinomoto and Kishinuma were having a stare down. I groaned. I felt like they were walking towards each other, so I flicked them both in the heads. "Ow!" They said in unison.

"Come or stay, it's your choice, now come on lets go before those things notice we're here!" I shouted. They both looked at me.

I ran out of the door way into the hallway once again. They did the same as we made our way outside to the car.

I thought Kinomoto might be some competition to yoshiki so I PUT  HIM BACK YAS! XD Comment what you thought and please vote, it helps! And it doesn't hurt to follow, I'll follow back! :D
