Toni woke up, sighing when she remembered today is the day that she goes public with Cheryl.

Toni hadn't seen Cheryl since that day she went over to measure her size for her dress.

Toni went downstairs to get breakfast. She sighed, reading the note her mom left her, telling her she won't be able to attend the public gathering.

"Great! No emotional support." the pinkette sucked her teeth.

She made some avocado toast for breakfast then she walked back upstairs.

Cheryl woke up to her personal makeup crew putting last-minute touches to her dress.

She huffed, putting a pillow over her head to block out the noise.

"Princess, Blossom. Your father ordered us to wake you up for breakfast." the guard spoke.

Cheryl groaned, grabbing her robe, and sliding on her slippers. Cheryl walked downstairs with the guard.

He opened the kitchen curtain for Cheryl, and she walked in, sitting at the table with her parents.

"Good morning, dear, sleep well?" Penelope asked, taking a bite of her pancake.

"I guess," Cheryl mumbled, pouring syrup all over her pancakes. "Well, are you excited about today?" Clifford asked his grumpy daughter.

Cheryl sighed, "How am I supposed to feel about it?"

Clifford sighed with a simple shrug. "Cher, I wish for you to be on your best behavior at this gathering," Penelope said.

"I got it, mom, I'm not five," Cheryl said. Penelope gasped.

"Did you just talk back to me?" She asked. Cheryl bit her lip anxiously.

"No. Sorry mom." She sighed. Penelope nodded, "apology accepted." she took one last bite of her food before placing the fork down, and leaving the room.

Cheryl avoids eye contact with her dad. "Cheryl, honey, I want you to do this for Jason." He sighed. Cheryl looked up at her dad. "What?" She questioned.

"I want you to marry Toni for Jason. He would want you to take the crown. You saw how bad he felt when he got it and you didn't. Just do this for him." Her dad pleaded.

Cheryl sighed, nodding her head, "For him." She smiled.

Her dad nodded firmly, leaving the room to go after his wife.

At the gathering.

"Ah, Toni, glad you could finally make it, please, come in." the guard said. Toni nodded walking in.

Only a couple of guests were there. Toni's dress flowed nicely around her body.

"You look wonderful Toni." Clifford smiled.

"Thanks. I like the way they made it, kinda my style." Toni smiled. He nodded. Royal music started playing, the lights went dim.

"I now present you, Princess, soon-to-be queen, Cheryl Marjorie Blossom!" the royal announcer spoke.

Cheryl came from out the dark. She approached the stairs, the guards grabbed her hands gently, walking her down the stairs.

"Go to the bottom of the stairs," Penelope whispered in Toni's ear. Toni didn't question and walked to the bottom of the stairs, watching as Cheryl walked down the stairs, elegantly.

She looked beautiful, Toni thought. She grabbed her hand and Cheryl's body tensed.

"I present you Cheryl's fianceé, Toni Topaz!" He announced. everyone clapped, with cheers.

"They will have their first royal dance!" He said again.

Toni's eye widens, same as Cheryl's. "Wait for what?" Cheryl said. Her parents gave her look, she sighed, letting Toni pull her to the dance floor.

The music started to play. Toni took Cheryl's hand in hers, wrapping her arm around Cheryl's waist.

Cheryl did the same, with a huff, they started swaying to the music.

Toni didn't know what to do with her eyes, so as they danced she awkwardly looked around the place.

Cheryl was looking at her, mostly at her lips. They looked so kissable and so plumped. Toni looked down at cheryl who was starting at her. She cleared her throat.

Cheryl looks away, rolling her eyes slightly. The music soon ends and they pulled away, bowing to the crowd. They erupted into claps and cheers.

Toni guided Cheryl to the reserved table they had for them.

Cheryl sat down, silently thanking Toni.

The tanned woman also took a seat next to Cheryl, the redhead looked at her as if she was crazy.

"Aren't you going to enjoy the party?" Cheryl asked. Toni was shocked.

"She speaks." the latter teased. Cheryl rolled her eyes. Probably for the 100th time tonight.

"And to answer your question, I'm not much of a party person." Toni shook her head, grabbing the water that was on the table.

Cheryl nodded, " Yeah, me either." She divulged.

Toni nodded and they fell into awkward silence.

Toni sat upright as some girls come over to them. "Hi, I'm Brittany and this is Gwendolyn, we just wanted to say if you get tired of the brat herself you can call one of us." the blonde flirted.

Toni was taken by surprise, how dare they disrespect their soon to be queen as if she's not sitting right there?

"Excuse me?" the pinkette raised a question.

"You heard me, Toni, " she whispered.

Toni grew angry. The disrespect. "I will have you know that I'm engaged. I don't sleep around with people like you who disrespect their soon to be queen. I've never seen such thing in my life. Please leave before I have you remove from this party." Toni said with much authority.

The girls were shocked, and Cheryl was also shocked. Toni took up for her? Why?

"We didn't mean t-" Toni cut her off.

"Guards!" she called them over. They walked over to the table.

"Yes, Ms. Topaz?" One of them said.

"Please have these girls removed, they are being very disrespectful to Cheryl, here," Toni said.

He nodded, taking them away. Cheryl let out a nervous chuckle, "Thank you." she mumbled.

"It's no problem. They were being very rude." Toni huffed. "They were probably raised in barns," Toni added with a laugh.

Cheryl laughed at that, and Toni smiled at her laughed.

It was a very beautiful laugh, Toni knew she would like to hear it again.

"No, really I appreciate it." Cheryl smiled. Toni nodded.

They sat and talk for a while, before getting up to go mingle with everyone.
