3 years later
It was the first day of senior year. Addison and Adelaine were overly excited.
"Addi! Breakfast!" Cheryl called as she placed Kyrie in his high chair.
The 4-year-old started eating his oatmeal, humming in content after.
Cheryl giggled, ruffling his long hair.
Addison and Adelaine walked into the kitchen, Amari not too far behind.
"Goodmorning, My beautiful creations." Cheryl smiled, placing their food in front of them.
"Morning, Mom." They mumbled.
"Hey, Cheer up! It's a Senior year. And Sophomore year." Toni said, entering the kitchen.
"Mama!" They yelled, running over to her.
Toni chuckled, giving them a hug.
"Babe!" Cheryl smiled, joining in the hug.
Kyrie wasn't even paying attention to them. He sat there, eating his oatmeal.
"I thought you weren't coming back until next week?" Cheryl asked as the kids sat down.
"Yeah. Well, I told them I was ready to come home to my family. We had finished all of the work there." Toni smiled, pecking her wife of 18 years on the lips.
"I'm glad your home, Mama." Kyrie smiled.
"Ahh, there's my handsome boy. My, look how much your hair has grown." Toni said, picking the boy up.
"I'm a big boy now." Kyrie smiled.
"Indeed you are. I was only gone for 6 months." Toni giggled.
"Well, A lot has happened. Addison and Aurora are going strong. Adelaide finally got herself a boyfriend-"
"In my defense, I ain't need no man." The 18-year-old nodded.
"Who is this boy?" Toni asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You'll meet him, Mama. He's really nice." Addison smiled.
"Okay. Well, In that case, I'll drive you three to school." Toni said.
------
Toni got out of the car as Addison, Adelaine, and Amari followed.
"Marcus!" Adelaine smiled, waving her boyfriend over.
The boy had brown hair, light brown eyes. He was kind and caring. Also the school's quarterback.
"Hey, Babe. Sup, Amari, and Addison." He smiled, putting his arm around Adelaine.
"Marcus, I want you to meet, My mama. Mama, this is my boyfriend Marcus." Adelaine smiled.
Toni looked the boy up and down. Noticing his shoes we're nice and he dressed well.
Toni smiled, shaking the boy's hand.
"Toni Topaz. Call me Mrs, Topaz." Toni nodded.
"Will do, Mrs. Topaz. You have made some lovely kids." He smiled.
"Yeah, well, I tried." Toni chuckled.
The bell ringed, Cutting everyone off.
"Later, Mama! Also tell Kyrie to not touch my desk in my room, Please." Amari hugged the woman.
"Got it, Son. Have a good day you four." Toni waved. Once they were in the building, Toni sighed getting into the car.
-----
"Kyrie!" Toni called, sitting in her place in the living room.
The 4-year-old came downstairs. "Yes, mama?" He asked.
Toni patted the seat next to her, smiling. Kyrie joined her on the couch.
"How have you been, bud?" Toni asked.
"Good! I like oatmeal." The boy said. Toni chuckled, "That's amazing."
"Yeah. Where did you go, mama?" He asked referring when Toni was gone for 6 months.
"Well, I had to go handle some work. Mommy and I made a foundation to give clean water for people who didn't have any. So I went to Africa for 6 months." Toni explained.
"Oh! Did you have fun?" He asked.
Toni giggled, "No. Not really. I just missed you guys." Toni nodded.
"I missed you too. Mommy did too, she was up early. I don't like it when she sad." The boy pouted.
Toni chuckled. "Yeah. Mommy was sad because she missed me. But since I'm back, she'll be happy. I promise." Toni said.
"Okay, mama." The boy smiled, hugging her side.
"I love you." Toni said.
"I wuv you too." He said.
"Can I go play with my cars now?" He asked.
Toni giggled, "Yeah. Go ahead, my love." Toni giggled as the boy ran back upstairs.
Toni sighed, leaning back against the couch, relaxing.
"Hey, baby." Cheryl smirked when she entered the living room.
"Cher." Toni smiled as the woman straddled her lap.
They shared a passionate kiss, giggling between it.
"Ugh, I missed you so much, you don't even know." Toni sighed.
"Same. I couldn't function. After we'd facetime or text, I'd just feel sad because I missed your presence." Cheryl said.
"Kyrie's gotten better at talking." Toni smiled.
"Oh, trust me, I know. The boy talks a hole in my ear." Cheryl huffed.
Toni giggled, shaking her head. "That's our son alright. Remember he was small. He could barely talk." Toni chuckled.
"Yeah. I miss those days. Now he's all grown up. Amari is 16, Addi and Adel are 18. And we've been married for almost 18 years. How amazing." Cheryl smiled.
"Yep. Jason would be sooooo proud of you, Cher. The smile he has on his face is the biggest you've ever seen." Toni nodded.
Cheryl sighed, "Yeah. My twin brother. He'll always be with me. Apart of me." Cheryl smiled.
"Mhm. I'm proud of you." Toni smiled.
"And I'm proud of you." Cheryl smirked.
