everest did realize that grace was probably right. for the sake of the movie, and hopefully an acting career after its premiere, she needed to get along with josh. or at least be cordial.
so she knocked on the door to his trailer, against her better judgement. "hi." she greeted him, hesitantly.
"hey, what are you doing everest?"
"uh. grace said that we should try to get along. so that's what i'm doing. y'know for the movie."
"oh. yeah. right. for the movie." he looked down.
"so. uh do you want to hang out, do something?" everest asked.
"yeah, sure."
and that's how they found themselves in joshua's hotel room watching high school musical.
"hey. so i am curious?" josh questioned.
"oh no. that's never good." everest answered, being sarcastic.
"hey! whatever. anyway, what did you think of high school musical: the musical."
"uhh." everest racked her brain, he was under the impression that she had watched his show. which she hadn't. she told everyone that is was because she didn't like the original, but she loved it. and joshua knew that because they were currently watching it.
joshua sighed. "you didn't watch it, did you?"
everest grimaced, "er. no"
"yeah i guess i should have assumed that."
"josh. it's just you has just left and i wasn't ready to watch it."
"yeah i get it." he paused, "are we good now, ev?"
she smiled at him, "we're getting there."
"i'll take it."
