Chapter 31: First Official Date

It's been a couple weeks since Mattia went to go see the boys.

Let me catch you up.

Over the past few weeks, Mattia and I have been hanging out a lot. We aren't together, but we have gotten closer than ever. I guess you could say that we're "a thing", because we haven't made anything official.

Bri and I fixed our relationship, but we're not back to how things were before everything. Oh, and she's finally dating Chris.

Kai and I had been drifting because he got a girl, but a couple of days ago, he came to hang out at my house to vent because he found out she was cheating.

Alejandro and Vic broke up, but I still hangout with both of them equally. Although, never at the same time.

-Present-

We we're all hanging out at some burger place, being loud and noisy.

"Okay, so who's house are we going back to?" Kai asks.

"MINE!" I shout, remembering that we got a new cup pong table.

We talked it over, and were getting ready to get in our cars..

"Y/n! Wait up!" Mattia shouts from behind me.

"Hi, Mattia" I say, as I turn around and wait for him.

He jogs over.

"So, I was wondering.." He begins.

I wait as he starts to get nervous.

"Yes." I say.

"What? You don't even know what I was gonna say"

"Whatever it is, I'd probably say yes anyways soo"

He chuckles at me, "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall tomorrow?"

"Sure! Who else is coming?"

"Well, actually I thought just us two could go.." he rubs the back of his head.

It gets a bit silent, until I realize..

"Wait, as in a date?"

He nods his head.

"Yeah.. unless you don't want to, then we could just count it as hanging out..?"

"NO! I'm down for a date..." I say, starting to get shy.

"Great. I'll pick you up tomorrow at... 2?"

"Okay" I say, smiling at him.

He stares at me and then grabs my hand as we head to my car.

-The next day-
1:52pm

I just finished getting ready as I see Mattia texted me.

Just then I hear my doorbell ring, Mattia.

I quickly grab my purse and my phone, and head down stairs.

I see his head through the glass on the door and laugh. It always makes people look funny.

"Heyy-" I begin to say, as I open the door. Until I see a Mattia dressed nicely, holding my favorite flowers.
