Romeo once said that the house of Viari is like Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Aside from the regular rooms in the house, there are secret rooms, secret passageways and, well, secret everything. In the garden by the library, there's a tree with a hole that leads to Wonderland. In the side garden with the fountain and statues, there's a round door that takes you to Middle Earth. There's a wardrobe on the third floor waiting for your adventure through Narnia. A wall somewhere that's platform 9¾. And that's not even counting the many other secret rooms.
But without going into one of these rooms, the avengers think the whole house is beautiful. It's old, the architecture, the size of the rooms, old money. Very very old money. And then the statues, the vases, paintings, swords, all the trinkets- William told them that about 97% of everything in the house is real. Old and 100% real. Leaving the remaining 3% being something that came from books.
"How do you know which ones are real and which ones are from books?" Bruce asked William.
He shrugged in response. "I just know"
They also asked him if the house would be any different if everything that came from books would be read back in. He said it would practically be the same. The secret passages and most of the secret rooms, even the one's behind portraits, are real. They're built into the house. But some secret rooms are from books, and then about a good handful of trinkets would also be gone. But things from books or not, they wouldn't mind living there for the rest of their lives.
Natasha Romanoff is walking down a hall on the third floor of the house. She softly hummed as she held her gurgling godson in her arms. She looked up at the paintings hanging on the wall. Some are big, others are small, and there are some benches underneath the paintings. Between all that there are doors to rooms, some are occupied by the Avengers, others are not. On the other side of the hall, are the windows. The curtains are pulled and tied open, the natural light beautifully illuminating the hallway. There are vases and statues, a few window seats where Natasha can picture someone sitting there reading by the light way before electricity.
Since Romeo and the others disclosed the secrets of the house, everyone suddenly found themselves in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Figuratively. Although it would be beyond awesome if they could go there. So what else is there to do but to ask if they could go to these lands? Touristing around the city and exploring the house? How can Ophelia get tired and bored of all that?
Little Nathaniel gurgled and Natasha cooed at the sound. The little traitor. You were supposed to be Natasha.
Natasha turned a corner and smiled when she saw Tristan and Juliet standing outside her open room. She said something, he nodded, she turned her head and smiled when she saw Natasha and the baby in her arms.
"Hi Nat" Juliet smiled at the woman who has become her friend. In the short time the Avengers have been there, they all became her friends. They all became friends. Funny how Juliet is Ophelia's little sister, but they're so different. While Ophelia is mean, grumpy, and sarcastic, Juliet is soft, gentle, sarcastic as well, and much friendlier than her sister. "Hello baby" she smiled down at the baby when Natasha got closer to them.
