Chapter 29: When in Baguio

Dennise' POV

"I FOUND THEM!" I heard someone shout and my body froze. Shit shit shit! They found us?

    Matapos ang kauting oras, may naramdaman akong humawak sa may paanan ko na para pinapakalma ako. Maya-maya pa naramdaman ko ng umandar yung sasakyan. Akala ko nahuli na kame? What happened out there?

"Stupid fuckers," narinig kong sabi ni Jessica at medyo kumalma ako ng konte.

"Di mo kailangang gawin yon, Jess!" narinig kong sabi ni Kim.

"What? That? That was nothing, Kim! I mean, it worked, didn't it?" sagot ni Jessica.

"Kahit na! E-E pano kung nahuli ka? Di mo kailangan gawin ang isang bagay na di ka kumportable gawin," parang nahihiyang sabi ni Kim.

"Oh please, kahinaan yun ng mga lalake, a hot girl trying to feel them up, they love that shit," she paused, "so might as well use that to our advantage, you know."

"Jess!" naiinis na sigaw ni Kim.

"Ok fine, fine, I won't do it again, geez."

"What happened?" tanong ko agad pagkalabas ko dun sa ilalim. Napansin kong naka-pout si Kim habang tinitignan si Jessica. 

"Well, idiots didn't actually know our faces, there were like 3 pairs lined up there and suddenly 1 pair ran, I don't know why, maybe may dala silang drugs or something," explain ni Jessica, "So I guess lucky for us," she shrugged with smug smirk on her face.

"I'm really sorry for dragging you both into this," I apologized, "Things are really getting way out of hand."

"How about a 'thank you' instead, huh?" Jessica teased and I can't help but smile.

"Thank you very very much," I said.

"Ayooon," ngiti ni Jessica.

"So, san ang punta naten?" tanong ni Kim saken.

"To my mother's vacation house, no one knows that place but us," I said.

"Uh no, that's a no," Jessica chimed in, "Do you really think na kung sino mang animal ang humahabol sa yo, 'di pa nagbackground check sa buong pamilya mo? Is there no other place? Don't you guys hire your bodyguards or some shit?" Jessica said and she has a point, at hindi naman ata pwedeng forever na lang kame nasa daan, they're gonna find us one way or another.

"Not really, it's not like royalties kame no," sagot ko habang nag-iisip pa rin ng gagawin o lugar na pwedeng puntahan.

"Well, you really should, look what happened," sagot ni Jessica.

"No, mahahanap at mahahanap naman nila tayo kahit anong gawin naten, so let's go to my mom's vacation house," I said, determined to face this head-on, "I still don't know what that bitch want from me, but I need to gain the upperhand somehow," I muttered to myself, "I need a plan."

"Ok so alam mo kung sino humahabol sayo?" tanong ni Kim saken at halata ko yung nerbyos sa boses niya.

"Julia Locsin, the most dangerous woman I've ever come across," I said and saying her name left a bitter taste in my mouth.
