Back at the apartment, I had chased Kelly into her room where she locked the door. She was laughing so hard I think the entire apartment complex heard her.
We have a really nice apartment on the fourth floor. There are three bedrooms, a large living room, two bathrooms, a good-sized kitchen with an island counter, a washer and dryer, and a balcony.
The main theme was a bright white, with main furniture the color of a charcoaled grey. My bedroom walls are painted a pale yellow, with my bed and other furniture matching with yellow and white colors. Kelly's bedroom is painted a light blue with her furniture being white or dark blue colors. Both bathrooms and the guest room, share the theme of the other areas in the apartment.
Walking into my room I dropped my stuff off at the little yellow desk in my room. Plugging my phone in, I head towards the kitchen. I find Kelly there with the smoothie machine near her and two glasses. She hands me one with a pink liquid in it.
"Piece offering?" She asks timidly.
I glare at her before sipping the drink.
I raise my eyebrows in shock.
"That's. That's actually good." I comment. She looks at me unamused.
"What did you put in this?" I ask.
"That's for me to know, and you to never know." She says turning the television on.
"Uh huh... I'll be in my room." I tell her, walking back to my room.
"M'kay" She responds, her eyes already glued on Dylan O'brien.
I shake my head smiling. Setting my drink down on my nightstand, I grab my guitar from its stand. I start to strum, playing nothing in particular. My strumming session is interrupted by my phone ringing.
Isabella would like to Facetime
I answer, fixing my hair while my phone waits to connect.
"Hey girl!" Isabella says happily. Her face and curls filling up my phone screen.
"Hi! Are you off work yet?" I ask.
"Nope. I'm just on break." She sighs tiredly.
"Aww, I'm sorry! Do you have a full shift?" I ask concerned.
"Unfortunately, but I signed up for it, so it's whatever." She replies.
"Yeah yeah, but you still have to take care of yourself missy."
"Yes mom." She says smiling. I roll my eyes.
Rolling my eyes apparently helped my brain function, because I remembered I had to ask Isabella about the 'hang out' with the boys.
"Oh! So Daniel text me." I start. Isabella starts wiggling her eyebrows and smirking.
"Oh really? Tell me more." She says.
"Haha very funny. It's not like that and you know it." I respond.
"Not like that my ass. I see the way you guys looked at each other this morning."
"Why is everyone accusing me of liking him! We JUST met this morning!" I exclaim.
"Ever heard of 'love at first sight girl?"
"You are a child."
"And you are blind."
"Whatever." I huffed, irritated.
"So what were you going to tell me before we decided you adore Daniel?" She asked sweetly.
"First of all, I DO NOT ADORE HIM! Secondly, I'm not telling you now since you're being a pain in the ass." I said with an attitude.
"WHAT?! That's not fair. I didn't know you were gonna get all sensitive, my gosh!" She argued.
"You know. You're mean."
"Sure. Are you gonna tell me what he said or not?" She sassed.
"No."
"Please."
"No."
"I'll pay for your next meal at the cafe."
"...deal." I sighed.
"Yes!" I heard her mutter.
"So basically, he invited us to come over tomorrow to hang out with the boys." I explained.
"REALLY! That's great. DoesthatmeanIcanseeZachagain?" She muttered the last part, probably not wanting me to hear.
"Yes idiota. You can see Zach if you go. BUT under NO circumstances will you say ANYTHING about Daniel and I. GOT IT?" I said sternly.
"..."
"Isabella, promise me."
"No can do. See you tomorrow!" She rushed.
"Isabella! Promise me right now! Hello? Isabella?!" I yelled into the phone, only to find that she had hung up.
"That little-"
"What in the frickity frack are you yelling about?!" Kelly busted into the room.
"Sorry. My friend is being annoying."
"Don't lie to me."
"Lie to you? What are you talking about."
"I know you don't have any other friends." She joked.
"Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny. I have a life you know."
"WHAT?! Oh my gosh. Isabel Valentina Rodriguez has a life outside of college?! Fascinating!" She exclaimed.
"You know how much I hate you right now." I said grabbing a giraffe pillow from my bed and putting it in my lap.
"I'm kidding! I really am happy that you are actually socializing pumpkin." She smiled.
"Thanks Kel. I was actually wondering if tomorrow, you could help me get ready for... I don't really know what it is. It's like a hang out I guess, with the boys and my friend Isabella."
"Of course! I'm happy for you. And by 'hang out with the boys' you mean 'date with Daniel'. Right?" She said smirking by the door.
I chucked the pillow that was in my lap, barely missing her as she slipped out the door laughing.
I continued strumming on my guitar for the rest of the evening.
Slipping into my pajamas, and getting under the covers, only one thought filled my mind as I drifted off to sleep.
I really hope I don't screw anything up tomorrow.
A/N: Hey guys! Thanks for reading. If you want to put a face to Isabel's best friend Kelly, you can go back to the cast! If you want to use your imagination (I prefer that way sometimes) have at it! <3
