Shut up!

Issa's POV:

I open the door and am met with blue eyes similar to mine.

Time freezes. I freeze. My whole thinking process freezes.

It can't be. After all these years of no communication. She must hate me.

Surprise wasn't an emotion that I had ever dealt with very well. Especially a surprise like this. My mouth falls slightly open, and my eyes grow wide. A lump forms in my throat and tears start to stream down my face.

I must have hurt her so much. Even though I didn't think I would ever see her again, I never ever stopped loving her. She was such a big part of my life.

I can't hold it back. I start to sob. She does the same, as we just look at each other, taking in each other's presence. Her smooth brown hair cascading down her back, her lips are formed into a small smile. Tears rolling down her face. I missed her so much.

"Jazmyn?" I choke out.

"Issa." She says through tears. She puts down a bag that she had been holding and immediately brings me into her embrace. Both of us crying hysterically and sinking to the floor, still hugging.

"I-I missed you. So much." She cries out.

"I'm so so sorry." I cry, hating myself for leaving her.

"It's okay. Everything is okay now. I know my little sister is okay." She says, smoothing my hair as I cling to her.

My older sister was my everything. To leave her after the accident was the hardest thing I had to do. She was like a second mom to me. But thinking back now, maybe she was the only motherly figure I had. She was always there for me.

We stayed in each other's embrace for a long time. Muttering apologies and gratitudes from time to time.

We finally pull away, and she touches my cheek as if I was fragile glass.

"You look so grown up." She says softly.

"And you haven't changed a bit." I say, smiling. "I still can't believe you're here..." I trail off after some time.

"Me either. It's been so long." She says, and I nod. "We have an audience." She whispers to me, I look behind me and see everyone staring at us. Kelly is even crying.

"So much for privacy." I say sarcastically, wiping stray tears. Jazmyn laughs.

"Well? Are you going to introduce them to me?" She says standing up, and bringing me up with her.

She grabs the bag from the floor as I help her inside the house, closing the front door.

"Everyone, this is Jazmyn, my older sister." I say smiling, while giving her a side hug. Everyone waves their hellos.

"Are you sure you two aren't twins?" Jack asks, Lavender in his arms. We both laugh.

"Nope. I'll always be 5 years older." Jazmyn answers, grinning. I roll my eyes and smile.

"Jazmyn this is Jack, and Lavender." I say pointing to them.

"Hi cutie!" Jazmyn says, looking at Lavender.

"Why thank you! But I have a girlfriend." Jack says with a straight face. Gabbie slaps him slightly.

"Oh. My apologies." Jazmyn says stifling a laugh. Lavender starts to reach her hands out, wanting to go with Jazmyn.

"May I?" She asks, and Jack hands Lavender over, as she starts to play with Jazmyn's hair.

"This is Gabbie, Jack's girlfriend." I say pointing to Gabbie who was now next to Jack. Jazmyn waves hi with the hand that was not holding Lavender to her hip.

I then start to introduce everyone else. "This is Lottie and Corbyn. They are together. Zach and Isabella. They are also together. This is-"

"We're just going on dates right now." Isabella corrects me.

"Oh, my deepest apologies Isabella." I say with fake enthusiasm, as I roll my eyes, still smiling.

"Darn you Issa." Zach cuts in stepping forward. "So, I was going to ask you tonight... but I guess I'll just do it now. Isabella, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks shyly. Isabella's whole face lights up and her eyes widen.

"YES!" She squeals, hugging him. Well, more like attacking him. She wraps her arms around his neck as he picks her up and spins her around, making her face grow red. A few 'aww's come from the girls in the group, as the boys are just smiling.

"Well... that was a turn of events." I laugh lightly.

"Happy birthday Issa! Enjoy this last year in your teens before you turn 20." Lottie says coming to hug me.

"Thanks Lottie." I say returning the hug.

"Now can we please go eat? I'm starving!" Lottie pleaded after pulling away from out hug.

"Lottie, you and Isabella literally ate half the snacks. How are you still hungry?" Kelly asks in awe.

"Well now that I think about it I'm hungry too." Isabella joins in. Everyone agrees with her.

"It's not only me!" Lottie argues. Kelly just laughs.

"Well then let's go eat I guess. If you're okay with that Issa?" Jonah asks.

"Of course! I'm hungry too." I giggle. From the corner of my eye I see Daniel smile. I don't think I got the chance to introduce him. But why should he be introduced?

I don't think I want to introduce my sister to the guy who just unintentionally broke my heart. Maybe after we eat. I still have to talk to him myself. I'll get to him later. I think to myself.

Everyone starts to head to the kitchen, chatting amongst themselves, and Jazmyn hands Lavender back to Jack.

Before I start walking to the kitchen with them, Jazmyn tugs on my arm.

"Is everything okay?" I ask concerned.

"More than okay. I just wanted to give you this in private." She says handing me the gift bag.

"You really didn't have to get me anything. Just you being here is amazing."

She chuckles. "Just open it."

I shake my head, smiling. I look at the bag. It's a small sized purple bag. Pink tissue paper spilling out of the top of the bag. The bag is not very heavy. I reach in after pulling all the tissue paper out, and my hands find a soft material.

I pull out a baby yellow shirt. I look at Jazmyn half confused.

"Thank you..." I say, trying to think of how to say I'm grateful for a yellow shirt.

"Oh be quiet and actually unfold it." She says laughing.

I unfold the shirt, seeing there are words on it, and read it out loud.

"It says, 'Surprise! I'm going to be an aunt'..." I trail off. After my brain actually processes what that means, I drop the shirt bringing my hands to my mouth. "SHUT UP!"

Hey bubs! Sorry for taking so long to update. Kinda a filler chapter. I have been dealing with a lot of things, but am doing better now. Hopefully there will be more regular updates in the future!
