Previously: "Daniel... I forgive you."

Issa's POV:

"You do?" Daniel asks quietly.

"Of course I do." I say smiling. "And I'm sorry too. I wish I wouldn't have jumped to conclusions, and had asked you first. Never in a million year would I have known you felt that way. I thought it was quite the opposite. But please don't ever feel like you aren't enough for me. You are more than enough Daniel. I don't think I could ever find someone better than you." I answer, whispering the last sentence and looking directly into his blue eyes. He nods, but then looks up at me again.

"Not even Sebastian?" He jokes. Actually, I don't really know if it is a joke. He looks kinda serious.

"Oh my gosh, Daniel. No." I say laughing slightly. "Sebastian and I are just friends. He is far from ever taking me away from you." His expression goes from worry to relief. We stare at each other for a few moments, before he sighs and his eyes dart down to my lips then back to my eyes.

"I really want to kiss you again." He says lowly, loud enough to not be a whisper, but quiet enough to not really be talking loudly.

"Well, what's stopping you." I whisper, a small smirk on my face.

Not even a second after the words come out of my mouth, he grabs my face with his hands, and his lips are on mine again. And I wish they could stay there forever.

This kiss was definitely different than the other ones. There was more passion involved, and it was more like a high school kiss rather than a junior high, first kiss.

His hands slowly make their way down to my waist from my face, as he rubs tiny circles on my stomach with his thumbs. His other fingers wrapping around the sides of my waist, desperately trying to bring me closer.

My right hand goes to the back of his neck, pulling him in, while my left outlines the muscles of his arm.

He suddenly breaks away from the kiss, and as I begin to catch my breath, he leans down, pressing light kisses on my neck. I draw in a sharp breath, and can't help the quiet moan that leaves my lips.

Dammit Daniel. What are you doing to me?

If my breathing was slightly irregular before, it is most definitely irregular now. He travels upwards, kissing my jaw, and making his way back towards my lips. Pressing one last sweet kiss on my lips, he pulls back. A smirk on his perfect face.

He leans back in, about to kiss me again.

"Hey you two, we are about to play a... game..." Jonah trails off, as he sees how close Daniel and I are to each other.

Daniel automatically steps away from me, moving next to me instead of in front of me.

"You know what? I'm just going to leave you two alone..." he says awkwardly, walking out of the kitchen.

I giggle, shaking my head. "We should probably join the others." I say, walking away from Daniel.
He pulls on my hand, spinning me around to face him. He tenderly caresses my cheek, kissing me gently. He pulls away only to rest his forehead on mine, his hand still on my cheek.

"Thank you." He breaths out.

Those two little words he said carried a lot in them. I'm not sure what exactly he meant by them. But I knew they came from his heart.

It wasn't just a 'thanks for coming'. Or a 'thanks for kissing me'.

It was a more of a 'thank you for understanding. For listening. For giving me another chance. For just being here with me'. And when I replied with 'you're welcome', we both knew that I meant the same thing.
