King and Queen

"So sweet. Nakakaselos naman kayo." Nandito kami ngayon ni Trent sa room namin. Lunch time, hindi na ako umuwi dahil wala namang tao sa bahay. Dito na ako kumain, may mabibili naman sa canteen. I ate with Trent, for the first time. And for the whole duration of our lunch, he'd been ranting about the scene last week. He's so jealous of Arc. And I'm getting pissed inch by inch.

"Trent, I said it's nothing. I talked to him because I don't want the two of you inside the Prefect Of Discipline Office explaining why are you fighting over a girl. That's just so stupid." I said, trying hard to be calm as much as possible.

"Yeah, you walked out followed by him like in those romantic films we've watched and then you two talked. Argue like lovers inside your room." He mockingly said. The hell is he implying then?

"Then what are you trying to point out Trent?" I irritatedly stopped writing my notes in one of my subjects. "Let's talk it out now, baka pag tumagal pa eh pag-awayan na naman natin to." Yes, since then. Lage na kaming nag-aaway. He's always bringing the topic up, kahit simpleng goodnight na nababasa niya sa GC namin na galing kay Trent, he gives meaning to it. "Ann, hindi sa panghihimasok ha. You're relationship is getting toxic. Trent is always jealous. And Ann, I know you're hearing things about him and Nicole of the lower year. Magkasama sila sa Dancetroupe at mismo mga kasamahan nila ang nagsasabi na they're turning extra sweet to each other. Why not talk it out? Hindi porke't nagseselos siya, eh lalandi na siya sa iba? And he didn't even explain to you why he's absent last two days, kahit na nagtanong ka na. Ano yun? Kapag naiinis, di ka na girlfriend pero ikaw boyfriend mo pa din siya? I hate to say this pero naikokompara ka na siya kay Arc. Kahit ganun yun, buti pa yun dahil nagpapaalam pa sayo kung liliban sa klase. Mas alam mo pa kung saan yun nagsususuot kaysa diyan sa boyfriend mo na puro lang naman selos ang pinapairal." Tama si Lucy. I've been hearing gossips about Trent and his co-member in the dancetroupe. Binabalewala ko lang dahil close naman sa akin yung girl, she'd been calling me 'mommy' eversince. I can't imagine her and my boyfriend, doing things behind my back.

"Bess, wag tanga! Kagigil ka eh. Wag mong antayin na si Daddy Arc na naman ang gumawa ng paraan, alam mong di yun magpapapigil ng stupidity niya once malaman niya to. Baka sa dancetroupe niya pag-initan ang mga ito. Or baka naman sa pageant bess." Ito pa ang isa kong ipinag-aalala. Di ko pa nasasabi kay Trent na kami ni Arc ang representative sa Mr. & Ms. ICHS. Humahanap ako ng tyempo pero wala talaga. Palaging nauuwi sa away ang mga pag-uusap namin. Ni text o tawag, di na namin nagagawa. "Don't worry Ann. Bukas, ipepresent ang mga candidates and the nominees in each level before the actual contestants talaga. Ieexplain why kayo ang nanalo." Kahit pa ganun, nangangamba pa rin ako. Sobrang seloso ni Trent ngayon. Lagi siyang mainit ang ulo.

Kinabukasan, maaga kaming lahat dahil sa gaganapin na presentation of candidates.

"For the Grade 9 level, we have Nicole Garcia as our official candidate. As for the nominees, we have Allysa, Jane and Camille who are also capable of joining but we choose Nicole because she has all the wit and confidence that a Miss ICHS needs." Nagsigawan naman ang mga kayear level nila Nicole, I also cheered for her not until I heard Trent shouted.
