Bucky lifted Gwen and settled her in her nest of blankets on his bed. She looked up at him with wide frightened eyes and mewed softly, confused. "You're retiring?" She asked softly, reaching a hand for him, though she didn't make a move to move from her nest of blankets and pillows that smelled like the pair of them. Bucky squeezed her hand reassuringly.

Loki laid a hand on Buckys shoulder, trying to reason with his friend. "Don't do anything rash, my friend. It was a mistake,"

"You wanted to stab them, and if she stays, she's only going to be more scared," Bucky protested. Clearly, his emotions were getting the better of him. Rationally he knew that, but the fear radiating off the omega, her upset had a part of him he hadn't realized existed on the defensive, he had to protect her, had to make her happy. An upset omega just upset all the alpha personalities around her. Bucky wasn't a werewolf, but he still registered as an alpha to her.

"I always want to stab people," Loki said with a shrug. Her entire body was at ease and relaxed. She knew how not to incite Bucky further. She had his own vicious temper to contend with so she knew how to handle Bucky's. "Take her on a vacation somewhere for a few days. Get her out of this damn tower, but don't just quit the team because the morons did what they would have to anyone else on the team who made that kind of decision,"

Bucky paced in front of the bed. "A vacation won't solve anything," he growled softly, upset at the others for being so stupid.

"Neither will quitting the team" Loki insisted. She didn't want to lose her best friend on Midgard. She summoned Gwen's Buckybear to hand to her to cuddle instead of her tail before the poor frightened omega pulled out all her fur.

"What should I do, have my own debriefing meeting?" Bucky grumbled, hating this and hating having to defend Gwen from his own friends.

Loki giggled. "If it involves punching those two idiots, I want to watch"

Bucky's hands were fists, but he wasn't sure yet. "Like to inform them what damage they did. How they should address any future situations similar in the future..." he tried to get the goddess to focus and help him instead of punching his friends in the face.

Loki nodded. "I can stay with her if you'd like to talk to them," she offered. Gwen would be safe with the goddess and Loki had a soft spot for all wolves, but definitely this one in particular.

Bucky was grateful for the goddess' help. "Good, keep her happy." Bucky had brought over her hair brush and let Loki have girls time with Gwen. He trusted that she would keep Gwen calm and safe. Loki nodded her agreement; she was perfectly capable of taking care of one little wolf. Nat and Wanda were quietly told the search for the wolf was off and to come help with girls' time.

Bucky walked out, asking FRIDAY to contact all male Avengers onsite. Especially Tony and Steve. Friday agreed quickly and all the men gathered in the debrief room. Steve was grumbling about how they were wasting time, they should be looking for her.

"You don't have to look for her. She never left," Bucky told them when they were gathered.

"Neither of you checked with her boyfriend??" Clint demanded grumpily as he fwumped in one of the meeting room chairs, signing along with his words automatically, even though his hearing aids were in for once.

Tony shrugged and Steve flushed red. "I sent that image from my room. Did you ask FRIDAY for her last whereabouts?" Bucky continued.

"No..." Stark admitted, sounding sheepish. They'd panicked when she hadn't been in her room.

Bucky slammed his metal fist on the table, making them all jump. "Didn't like that?" He snarled at them, glaring and showing them his true anger and temper. "That's what she feels when scolded or yelled at, especially by you lot,"
