"So, who do you think is going to win?"

Sophie and Fitz have been sitting on their 'throne' while overseeing the whole competition for their hands to the aurenflare night.

Biana, being Fitz sister, excused herself from the competition and stood next to Sophie.

"Keefe's on the lead, but I don't know if he'll hold onto it." Sophie said, shrugging at her. Fitz, on the other hand, answered nothing.

Sophie found out that he asked Linh for a favor to participate and win, so that he doesn't end up dancing with a stranger.

Of course, Tam was pretty annoyed, but he just let it slide. For today.

"He'll hold onto it, even if it means dancing with you in the Healing Center." Biana remarked, laughing at her own statement.

Sophie rolled her eyes and said "I've had too many moments there, let's keep this one out."

They watched the prodigies as they battle it out. The competition is fierce, but it was not intense.

It was more of a quiz bee type of thing, except that it's full of nonsensical questions.

The questions are ridiculous. It needs the participants brain in a witty and hilarious way.

Some questions include "If you fall in love, what will you do?" and the answer depends on the person.

They all talked about what answers would they give if it was them.

If Sophie answered it, she'd say 'I'll teleport back up.' If Biana answered it, she'd say 'Brace the impact.'

They both looked at Fitz, waiting expectantly for his answer. He dismissed it and told them he has no talent for great remarks, and they agreed.

That's the reason why Keefe's on the lead. He effortlessly answers everything as if he was the one who created the questions.

The mentors assigned per question assess whether your answer is pass worthy or not. They also make sure that an answer will not be repeated again.

"Well, if Keefe ends up winning this, it'll still be better than a bunch of drooling guys." Biana said, attacking a particular elf which was in the middle rankings.

"Yeah, I think so to." Sophie mindlessly answered. She sat up straight, trying to assess the pros and cons of Keefe winning this.

Pros: He's Keefe.
Cons : He's Keefe.

She just sighed and continued watching. "Hey, I'm just curious, but have you tried checking your scroll again?" Biana asked.

She shook her head, telling Biana she was a bit busy, but she'll try tonight.

"If it changes tonight, you gotta hail me. Immediately." She said, adding that tone of threat in her voice.

Sophie answered with a yes, knowing full well that one must never cross with Biana Vacker.

Biana smiled and left, telling them she'd be right over where the others are.

"How long does this competition take?" Sophie said, rubbing her eyes. Even with the slumberberry tea and 15 hours of sleep, she was still mentally and emotionally drained.
