"I hate studying." Biana expressed her feelings for the nth time that day.

They were at Sophie's room, studying for the finals. Of course, this has been not in favor for Sophie as she was not actually learning "Level 6" lessons.

"You don't have a choice, you need it." Dex said, after flipping a page from Elvin History.

Biana grunted and laid back on Sophie's bed. "Oh, great Sophie Foster, lend me your brain for the upcoming finals." she said dramatically.

"Sure, get a scalpel and extract it right now." She said, not looking up from the book she's reading.

"I mean, you're not even studying! You probably don't need it!" Biana exclaimed, pointing to the book she's reading.

That's right, it was a human book. But, only the cover. She needs it as disguise, and she'll be fine as long as no one tries to peek at it.

Thankfully, Fitz sat on the floor next to her, so he could help warn her when someone draws near.

"I'm done studying for the finals, and seeing that alchemy isn't part of my subjects, I'm good as passed." Sophie replied, which wasn't exactly a lie.

The subjects she doesn't have good affinity with is Linguistics due to her mimicking skill, but aside from that, she's confident she's going to ace it.

"Now, now. What subject have you been looking at for the past hour anyways?" Linh asked, looking over to Biana's direction who found the energy to sit up.

"Multispecies Studies." She mumbled as she playfully twirled the ends of her hair. Tam looked at his girl, confused and asked "Isn't that what your brother's good at?"

Biana rolled her eyes before answering "Yeah, because he got help from Sophie before- I stand corrected, I meant until now."

"Hey!" Fitz looked up from his book and shouted. Biana just ignored him and continued studying- not.

"I don't know about you guys, but I don't care about finals. We have another event on April 1, don't we?" Keefe announced, gaining the attention of everyone. "And it's a whole lot better than finals." He smirked.

"Ohh! That's right! I'm proud of my plan this year." Dex exclaimed, placing a fist on his chest.

Sophie has a reason to believe that Dex can actually pull of a great April Fools if he just put more of his heart in doing a prank.

Well, both good at elixirs and gadgets? Man, talk about lucky.

"I hope I can make a decent one this time around." Linh half whispered to the group.

"I think she's pretty serious this time." Tam interjected. "She always has this barrier around her, making me unable to figure out her plan using the shadows."

"What?!" Linh exclaimed, slamming one hand on the bed. "You've always knew my plans?!"

Tam shrugged and said "How do you think I've avoided everything?"

Dex shook his head at Tam, patting his back "Man, you are so dead this April Fools."

"Huh? What?" Tam said, not realizing what he actually did wrong.
