My head hurts as I tried to read the papers again. I was lack of sleep because Fabian keeps on bugging me. Much to my dismay, I ignored his calls and texts to concentrate on my work. I bit my lower lip, thinking of the upcoming party tomorrow.

"You are done for today, Ms. Ocampo," Anya reminded me.

"Thankyou, Anya," I smiled then wore my trench coat before cleaning my table.

Ito po, payong," she handed me her umbrella and I just smiled genuinely.

Kuya Jems is probably waiting for me. Pagbalik niya, he brought me a gift and he told me that his wife made it for me to return my kindness toward them. It is just a peanuts but I really appreciate it even though for some, small thing lang 'yon, but for me, it is already a big deal.

Besides, if you can't appreciate small things, pa'no pa kaya ang mga malalaking bagay?

"You look tired," I heard someone interrupts my thoughts from behind kaya madalian akong lumingon at hinanda ang sarili.

My eyebrows furrowed in irritation when I saw the man that I've been avoiding for the past three days. I felt like I lost my temper seeing him smirking at me. I really want to stab his mouth so that he couldn't smirk at me anymore!

"I don't care. Where's Kuya Jems?" I spoke the words with a hint of menace.

He slowly walked towards me and lowered his head to have a moment with my face. He caressed my cheeks and I heard him chuckled with my sudden movement. I flinched back and pushed his hands away from me.

I just want to fetch you because I know that you are really tired and guess what? I was right," he smirked.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest.

. ." He said huskily.

My world had stopped for a moment. Hearing his words made my heart beats rapidly. I bit my lower lip and averted my gaze. I am really trying my best not to look on his face but my heart is really a traitor.

"Luh, plastik ka?" I asked harshly, raising an eyebrow to hide my emotion.

"Na-uh," he answered. "Fiancè mo lang," he smiled.

I raised my bag, as if to strike him for him to be aware that I am really not up to his jokes as of now. What a hypocrite.

Puwede bang h'wag mong ipakita 'yang pagmumukha mo?" Iritado kong tanong.

"Alam mo, Vena, nai-in love ako sa 'yo. Puwede bang ipakita mo araw-araw 'yang mukha mo?" He mocked me.

There, he pulled the trigger! He started the engine out of confusion but I silently thanked God that he didn't talk for the whole journey.
