Broken 15: Friends

Kinaumagahan, I received a chat from Luxen. I tapped the notification and pressed my thumb to open my phone.

Rigid Luxen Beaumont
Active now.

Just now.

He updated me. He informed me. Signs of a boy liking me...

Agape Sanguine Laude

Okay lang! Salamat :)

It’s a normal Wednesday with my boys around. I ate alone in lunch, like always, before Luxen started eating with me. More of a reason why I don’t want to get attached with people.

Kalmadong Wednesday.

I really think that he likes me. I need to stop him before he dives too deep. I need to stop him before he falls too hard.

His long legs skipped a bunch of stairs and he swiftly went in front of me. I let him breathe first before I spoke.

“Luxen…” I called him out.

His face is expressionless now, like mine. Although in his eyes, I can see the fear and sadness.

“Am I going to be dumped?” diretso niyang sabi.

Bumntong hininga ako. I looked at him for a bit to see if I can sense hatred. But all I see is fear and sadness.

“You know I don’t like you, right?” diretso ko ring balik.

It’s gonna be easy to dump someone if I don’t give smiles and expressions.

He’s lean and towering.

Malapad ang balikat niya at maliit ang baywang niya, making him have a slight curve and a sexy silhouette.

“I know that you don’t like me. But do know, too, that I did not start this expecting that you’ll like me back,” pagsisimula niya.

He used the word like which I prefer better than the word love. He used ‘like’ and I take that as a matter of fact that his feeling will change soon because attraction doesn’t last long. Nothing lasts long. Love does not last long because in the first place, love is not real.
