Chapter 10 - A day with dad

I wake up from a nice nap and realise it is only 4pm. So I have 2 more hours till dinner. I look at my phone and see that I have 4 missed texts. One from Alex, one from Jill, one from Maya and one from Ben (aka my dad). I opened Alex's text first.

Alex - Hey when you wake up, come to my room everyone is there and we are playing never have I ever. xx

AJ - Thanks for the offer but Jill says I have to stay here

Alex - Maybe we could come to your room

AJ - Nah it's fine. There is still some tension between Ali and Ash and I. I don't think that would be a good idea.

Alex - ok if you say so.

AJ - yea - Just looked at Jill's text and she said I could go to the early movie night after dinner.

Alex - yayay xx

I look at the other messages. I then change into Sweats and go watch a movie on Netflix's.

I look at the time and it is 5pm. Dinner in 15mins as it is game Day tomorrow. I slowly walk past Alex's room since it's early and go down to the conference room for dinner. I walk in and see Jill. She motions for me to come over and talk to her.

J - I will be playing you tomorrow and I need to know that you and Ali and Ash can work together.

A - I think we can.

J - Good, Also don't lie to me

A - About?

J - I rang Maya and she doesn't have a brother. So was it your Dad who you were meeting.

A - Yes and you heard Ali and I fight didn't you?

J - Yea I did - Just be careful around him.

A - why does everyone keep telling me that.

J - BC why would Ali lie to me?

A - She wouldn't

J - exactly

J - Go get some food the others are here.

A - can you not tell Ali?

J - Maybe

I look around and see the others piling in. I grab a plate and get 2 burritos and some apple juice and go sit down by myself. I see Jill call Ali and Ash over.

Jill POV
I decide to call Ali and Ash over for a chat.

Ash - What's up Jill?
J - AJ is going to have her debut game tomorrow at some point during the game and I need to know that you guys will pass to her and have no issues.
Ali - There will be no issues
Ash - Yep none. She is a good player
J - ok good you are dismissed Also Ash I want you and Kelly, Becky back in your rooms.
Ash - K

AJ POV

I see them both walk back over to the team. I finish eating and go up and grab some healthy cheese cake and finish it. I decide to leave and go back to my room. I can hear the girls coming back. The movie starts at 6pm and it's currently 5.45pm. so everyone has some time to kill. I sit on my bed and just listen to Little Mix. They calm me and they have me focus. I see Kelly, Becky and Ash walk back into eh room and put there stuff back in the draws. I guess Jill told them to move back in. They all get ready and it's now 6.56pm and they head out to Alex's room. Then Kelly looks at me
K - you aren't coming?
A - Nah I'm going to get some sleep.

They all nod and leave. About 2 mins later (5.57) there is a knock at the door. I go to answer the door but it's shocks me when Ali is there. I guess she is here for Ash

Ali - Um... Has ash gone already?

AJ - Um.....Yea

She goes to leave but says something

Ali - you aren't coming?

AJ - Nah probably gonna get some sleep. And I am on house arrest.

This is a pretty calm conversation.

Ali - the girls wouldn't mind coming into this room u know for bonding.

AJ - Nah I already told Kelly I wasn't going and the girls have probably started the movie so u might want to get going.

Ali - Yea I guess. Bye

AJ - Bye

Ash POV

I sit down and save a seat for Ali. I begin to wonder where she might be but then she walks in sits down next to me and suggles into my side. I put my arm around her.

A - What took you so long to get here?
Ali - I stopped by your room to get you but you will already gone but AJ was there.

Ash - oh?
Ali - we didn't yell at eachother
Ash - that's good.

We watched the movie until it was bed time.

A bit of a short chapter but I wanted to make Game day a full chapter with lots of detail. Next chapter how will the game go and will Ali and AJ patch it up or will Ben ruin it again. Find out in Ali is Mom.
