Ali Krieger is my mom

Chapter 28 - Wedding

I am in such of a disagreement with what to do in my current situation. Go to my mum's wedding or go holiday to Hawaii with my dad's side of the family. Some people would find it easy but I can decide. (Ben doesn't know when the wedding is). I should probably talk to Ben about it. I call him:

B - Hey AJ, What's up?

A - Mum's wedding is on the 28th of December?

B - So you want to cancel?

A - I don't know yet

I hang up and go to my room. Ali and Ash are coming today because we are going into family court so that Ali and Ash can adopt me. I'm really looking forward to it because then it will feel right to call Ash my Mumma. I start to get dressed into a formal dress and some converse. I hear the door bell ring and Maya answers the door and I can hear her talking to Ali.

Maya - Hey Ali

A - Hey Maya, Is AJ ready

M - She will be down soon

A - I'm kinda nervous, What if they wont let Ash adopt her

M - They will, Ash is a great mum

A - Hopefully

I come down and head straight to the car without saying a word and head in to the car. I climb into the back and look down at my hands. Ali hops into the car

A - Not even a 'Hello'?

AJ - Ah sorry, I had a interesting day

A - Do you want to talk about it?

AJ - I'm not sure that would be a good idea, it would cause conflict

A - ok

Ash drives to the court house. We all get out and walk into the court house.

*Court*

Judge - I now give sole custody of Alaska Joslyn Rhodes Krieger to Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger

Ash - Thank you

Ali - Thank you

Judge - Miss Rhodes, what would you like your last name to be?

AJ - Um......Krieger 'Harris

Both Ash and Ali look at me and smiles

Judge - Of course

Court finishes and we go out to the car and take a photo and we all post it on Instagram.

We hop in the car and they drop me off at Maya's. I am not moving to Orlando. I say goodbye to Ash and Ali as they need to go home. They leave me to go to the airport and I go inside and go and sit on my bed. I have been really sad at the moment since Maddie was adopted by her birth mom and Brooklyn is away on a family holiday and has been too busy to call me. Brook and I haven't spoken in 2 weeks since they have gone away. Hopefully when he gets back we can hang out. Ali and Ash's wedding is now only a month away and the girls are really excited about it and I still haven't told Ali if I am attending or not. The USWNT group chat starts blowing up:
