city lights pt.5

Bucky holds your hand while he drives and he pulls over to the curb infront of an old time looking restaurant.

He flashes you a dazzling smile, then kisses your hand.

Bucky" also fore warning you, don't mind Gloria. She's just excitable."

You raise your eyebrows at him and he gets out of the car, and  before you even take your seat belt off he's opening your door.

Bucky" m'lady,"

He bows with a cheeky grin.

You take his outstretched hand with a laugh.

You" thank you kind sir."

He winks, then gives your knuckles a kiss before leading you into a small homey diner.

You look around with a smile.

It screams 1940s,  the music is soft old jazz, the walls are painted a Robbin egg blue, and there is a long L shaped Counter.

There's some modern things like a couple of TVs but that's it.

An older woman with silver hair walks twords you with a smile.

" Bucky! I didnt know you were stopping by today?! Get your ass in here!!How are you? "

Bucky gives the woman a smile and a hug.

Bucky" hey Gloria. Yeah it was a bit of a last minute decision. But, I would like you to meet y/n. Y/n this is Gloria. The owner."

You give her a small smile, and a nervous wave.

Her eyes widen and she smiles.

Gloria" oh! It's so nice to finally meet you! I've heard so many great things! It's about time this one brought you in."

She says nodding at bucky. She wraps you in a hug which you gladly accept.

You" it's nice to meet you as well."

She pulls back,

Gloria" thanks for keeping this one busy."

She says with a light-hearted laugh as she nods at Bucky.

You" we keep each other on our toes, that's for sure."

Bucky sqeezes your hand affectionately.

Bucky" gllorriiiaaaaa.... Can we get a number three?"

You both chuckle and Gloria rolls her eyes playfully.

Gloria" no. You can't. You are banned from ordering."

Bucky gasps dramatically, and places his hand on his chest while looking offended.

Bucky" glor. You wound me.and in front of my date, c'mon."

You chuckle at his dramatics.

Gloria" nah I'm just messing with you, it'll be right up."

Bucky" thank you."

She smiles at you both.

Gloria" of course, it was a pleasure to meet you hunny."

You" you as well."

She gives you both a smile before dissapering into the back.

Bucky" c'mon."

His exspression resembles one of a kid in a candy store.

He pulls you up a flight of stares and onto a little balcony.

He pulls you back to one of the booths, and sits across from you.
